jorge far more experienced fighter than ray and that was his main advantage, more relaxed, better timing ie sees more and reacts better. ray too tight and flinching, eyes down under pressure and on strike.kimbo - jorge would have been a better fight.in any case, this is not street fighting. street fight would have gone to ground after initial strike and ray may have fared better there with the extra strength.
If they could have used the ground, Jorge annihilates Ray. Jorge is too small for Kimbo. 80 lb weight disadvantage is too much. Bluto as a cage fighter yourself, I don't see how you can disagree. Take a trained fighter, who is athletic and in shape, they would wipe the floor with any street fighter. It'd be like the winner of the Mr. Getbig trying to compete with Victor Martinez. NO CONTEST.
They would if it was the same as sparring or in a cage but it isn't. So it would come down to how they would react to the situation. That's why a hooligan who never trained a day in his life can beat the shit outta a trained fighter.
I guess a trained fighter can't be as savage in the street using conditions to his advantage. All that speed, timing, balance, dexterity and plain athleticism makes no difference huh? Don't ever get in Enson Inoue's face in the street, nor his ex brother in law Nori, or Nori's training partner Riki Fukuda for that matter.
calm down all of you cage fighter bad asses Watch it SF, they are wearing tap out gear Blutos next ghey thread "Can a man who benches 600 pounds literally cut someones head off with a headlock and brute strength" ?
Serious question, why do you drop names of dozens of fighters every day? You usually use their nicknames which makes it hard for anyone to follow unless they are serious MMA fans.
we're all terrified.
With your physique, I am sure no one will want to pick a fight with you.
hahahahaa, i guess i better watch my step, you are a "bulldog" after all, right? hahahaha, you must be a huge ripped beast, let's see some pictures instead of dropping names of fighters you've memorized from reading magazines.
It's better than if he was a Bowler, but not automatically better than if he was a Hockey player. Ultimately it comes down to how he handle the fear and the adrenaline rush. And people in that state tend to fall back on using a limited no of techniques.
What's everyone's opinions on the use of headbutts?? I think they'd be pretty effective on an untrained drunk guy. I haven't tried it yet though.
And a guy who does it daily, has it trained into his synapses, deals with adrenal stress constantly can't do it on demand in a real but similar situation to his field of endeavor. No logic here.
Not very effective.
And why do you think so?
I don't need to be ego stroked by a bunch of men on a bodybuilding board. I am simply here to express my opinions in an open forum. You can think I drop names from a magazines all you want, I don't care, and I am not a fatty.
