When is it time to get married?

1. When you intend to have progeny.

2. When you have progeny you wish to legitimize.

everyone else would use the word 'kids', but because algebra is so brilliant, he chooses to reinforce his online reputation as 'smart guy' by using the word 'progeny' ::) instead, oh brother

When one of the parties really needs benefits (ie if one partner has a really good health plan and the other doesn't).  Otherwise it's a legal and financial liability.

Oh - and NEVER without a prenup.
