I have been going with my g/f over 8 months and its nothing she has done i just cant be annoyed with a g/f at the minute.

I dont want to get annoyed with her as she is a nice girl etc though any ideas what is teh best way to tell her. I wish she had of done something so i could drop her guilt free. IM 21 she is only 17.

Goudy, sit her down, have a heart to heart talk with her explaining to her you are not happy,
that it has nothing to do with her, that it is you, and that you need your space. Do it gently.

ps - I hope you did not take her virginity either. If you did, ...best to make it her idea for the breakup.

Jag, ty for female perspective. i am not unhappy just kinda fed up/lazy. she is a lovely girl though i jsut dont want to go with her anymore though i really dont want to upset her etc.

i also work with teh girl in teh same place though different days anbd hours. she asserts that she has always stayed firends with her ex's

OK, now that I know the real reason, it's imperative that you be gentle with her. Don't hurt her.
At 17, to be dumped by your 21 yr old boyfriend could be devasting, and have really adverse effects on her,
...especially when you've had incompatibilities issues in the bedroom. Have a heart to heart talk with her.

lol we were compativble in bedrroom. i just dont want it to be awkward in work. tho i care more that i dont upset her in general etc. she has onlyu worked in our place 9 montsh ive been there 5 years.

ok here is what you need to do G.

start being an even greater super nicER guy. Buy her flowers everyother day, take her out, buy her stuff, call her every 10 min, actually listen to her when she talks, refresh to her that you have big hopes and dreams in life and big plans..etc, be very caring and extra loving to her, go to church more, stop swearing, stop drinking, just smother her all the time like you have ZERO LIFE..etc..etc

......keep all this up for about 3-4 weeks........then she'll tell you she needs space or something. Act like you are not understanding why...etc. Then walk out the door with your head down (and a devilish smirk on your face)..and there u go.

well i just spoke to her and was honest.

said i would end up resenting her which i dont want to happen if i dont give myself a break. she was understanding about it which i am glad tho she asserts that it will break her heart though she will get over it.

funny thing is this happened to mem a few years ago except i was on recieving end. i do feel slightly bad thoiugh know it was frustrating me and i think im too nice a guy/cowardly to not answer fone etc tell her top fuck off.

i like the response get out of it before she gets pregnant, i wa sthinking that too.
