I've run a lot more deca then eq in the past but that may switch in the future.

Deca is a great drug, great for size and the added joint relief is fantastic, but for many it can be a little harder to come off of. If you use it, I always recommend you stop it 2-4wks before the rest of your cycle ends. that way it is easier to come off of. Even so, I've noticed that my cycles end a little smoother without deca in the first place.

EQ gains are not as strong as deca but they are there. If you wanted to get the same results from eq as you would deca as far as pure size is concerned, a higher dose would have to be in play...but that doesn't make eq worthless. The gains are there, although they seem to be a little slower at piling on, they also seem to be easier to maintain afterwards. Further, it is much easier to come off eq IMO then deca.

In my experience, I will say that my best actual cycles have included deca...as far as the cycle itself. My best size and strength gains have come when deca was in the mix. However, when the cycles are done, the ones without deca seem to have an easier maintaining effect...this would be due to the easier PCT and so forth IMO.

I've run deca at 400mg/wk-600mg/wk and I've never noticed that much difference between the two dose ranges. The only thing about 600mg/wk is that on that particular cycle I got some nose bleeds.
As for EQ, I've run 300mg/wk-900mg/wk. In this case, anything under 400mg/wk IMO is a waste for most people IMO...not worth much. I prefer 600-900mg/wk for myself but most people would probably be happy in a range of 400-600mg/wk.

ill choose eq over deca any day of the week.

i have ran Eq for extended periods and the stuff is comfortable.  Very minimal sides.  Deca is much stronger and more sidey, thats the way it usually is though the stuff that works best have the most sides.  i never really noticed this before about deca but the stuff bloats me up.  Do not feel comfortable on it, hard to breathe and catch your breath sometimes.  just an overall feeling of being stuffed. 

But man the stuff makes me wanna train hard! and I get my best strength gains from it.  Will admit I get a little booby on deca also, nothing out of control but have been known to make some chicks jealous  :D  so while on deca the anti-E's are important.  Plus you will go thru the first bottle before you start to feel it and the stuff lingers.

EQ is a nice drug for contest prep and getting is shape.  Test and Eq is a nice combo for LONG cycles.  but if your looking to get big and strong on it you may be disappointed.

Deca is the best overall AAS there is besides test IMO. Very minor sides except if you get deca dick. other than that i've never had a side from deca. very smooth gains and great strength boost after about 6 weeks on it. i notice it takes a while to kick in but once it does you will make rapid gains.

Eq was a waste of money for me, all i got was veins and better stamina. i've ran it as high as 900mg a week and it was nothing compared to 400mg of deca. i thought my stuff was bunk so i switched to another brand and still didn't get shit out of it.

i've been 5% bodyfat while running deca so the whole "Eq is better for cutting" is not something you should take into account. many say Eq makes them hold more water than Deca but of course everyone is different. most will say deca bloats them more but it's all in the diet.

As Arnold mentioned always stop deca before the test. i stop deca about 4 weeks before i stop test, but that's my personal way of doing it. i like to let everything taper out until all i'm running is test and HCG when i start PCT.

I seem to have better results that last longer with the EQ. I like my results more with the EQ, I tend to get bigger gains but they are not long lasting and tend to be more water bloat then anything.

Deca Advantages: Joints seem to be less painful when I'm on, strength is more noticible.
Deca Dis Advantages: Alot (not all) of the gains go away, Joints seem to be more apparent when you come off, more water bloat, limp dick

EQ Advantages: Gains are more permanent, no water bloat, no sign of limp dick
EQ Disadvantages: Noticed joint pains more as there is not as much water for lubrication

Now these are just my observations, and you will probably be different, as stated above everyone responds differently. That being said....

To a newbie I would suggest Deca over EQ just simply for the Advantages above alone. And probably seasoned vet might be more prone to use EQ.

Again just my 2 cents.

I like them both but I'd say I favor EQ over Deca...but that's just my preference.

Deca. I've always ran 300-400mgs a wk and enver had any side effects hardly. No deca dick, or anything. But I've never really ran it longer than 14wks & no more than 400mgs a week either. My lifting friend has done both, & he says he'll always use deca for his base with sauce/test.
