We always glorify steroid use on here and justify it on here, but how many of you would truly reccomend steroid use to  a close friend or family member (obviously they are 25 or older)

I personally dont reccomend the dark side.... its too much of a cycle, no pun intended... this doesnt mean I dont love the dark side
ah yeah Im a voodo child

I wouldnt like go out and try to convince a friend to use, but if he decided on his own that he wanted to get on the sauce then i would hook him up with a source.

I don't recommend it to anyone...if they bring it up and want help that's their call and I'm glad to help, but I always make sure they are aware that there is no pressure from me whatsoever. Why would anyone want to pressure anyone to use this stuff is beyond me...what would I get out of that?

I concur...

If a close friend asks a question i'll gladly answer but i'll never pressure anyone into this game.

Here and there you see PPL SO skinny that they SHOULD be on steroids.
Our Medical establishment is missing the boat with the benefits of these drugs.

I generally try to discourage them from using AAS, most want to use way too soon, with not much time under the bar.
That said, I'm not into BSing PPL.

If I had a son who was dead set on steroids, Id be more concerned about how and what than the fact that he is using them.

That's interesting.  I kinda feel you on that though.  Cause if somebody want juice, they gone get it from SOMEWHERE.  If you got love for'em, you might as well do what you can to make sure that they do it right.  That's what I say, at least.  Shoot, I heard of people who sell crack to family member just because they know that THEIR crack is not laced with anything else.

Your comment is that Crack and AAS are remotely similar?
Just curious?

Noooooo, I'm just sayin that the CONCEPT is similar.  The concept of "if they gone do it, I might as well make sho they do it right".  I don't think that Crack and AAS got ANYTHING in common, personally.

This is not the same kind of thing. Just because someone is going to do something regardless does not mean you help them do it regardless. As most here will attest, they believe AAS can be used safely and efficiently, no one here would say the same for crack. To me your statement is like saying, hey, the guys gonna rape and murder the girl anyway, I might as well show him the right way to do it...flawed thinking IMO.

I've had a lot of my friends jump on gear and cite me as their inspiration (seeing how jacked I get) for them wanting to try it.. a few of them have changed their lives around. Going from fat slobs to in shape guys with quality muscle.. apparently around here I'm a walking billboard for gear usage, lol.

I have recommended AAS to my dad, hrt. I think he would feel and look better and besides hrt i think many people could benefit from AAS.

I agree, I know a older ex-work Buddy He's 67. Now he tells me he cant get it up anymore, viagra dont even help.
Guy was a real pussy hound and his wife is cool.  He has high blood sugar too.

I'd give good betting odds that: 2cc of Sustanon + 100mg of Deca every 17th day WOULD (WOOD? ;D) SOLVE BOTH PROBLEMS AND also BRING DOWN HIS BODYFAT!!!   He's afraid of "STEROIDS" and it'll be a cold day in hell any USA
HMO  Dr advises my idea, or even sugests geting his Testo levels checked! >:(

He's likely to have a shorter (Cant control the high blood sugar, Type II) unhappy life.

Right on point as usual.

I went to the biggest guy in the gym when I started this game and as time went on I learned that he was only in it for the money(duh, ya I know). I was putting money in his pocket and that he didn't want to see me excel at it. As time has gone on and knowledge has become more accesiable, such as this board, I have learned that with knowledge being brought forth that when used right, there is really not alot of chance of a crucial mistake such as death being made. Life is funny on how when people don't know something about "the dark side" they assume that it is just what it is, the dark side. As more knowledge becomes available and people understand more I believe it will become the norm in gyms. As I don't condone the use of AAS by professional atheletes that are supposed to have natural gifts and thats why they are where they are and I'm not.

I don't attest to having a world of knowledge, but if someone asked me about getting into "the game", I would tell them about this board, tell them to do more reserch on what it is they want out of the drug. As I also know that most doctors don't condone the use of AAS, it still would be wise to tell them of your intentions. Then and only then would I have a serious converstaion of converting to "The Dark Side".
Just spot me BITCH!!!

i train with my younger bro (2yrs younger), and he's ended up on the dark side too, obviuosly i pointed out all the downfalls.. i see no wrong in it, theres much more harmfull things you could be doin, including drinking and smoking everynight... i always think to me self, what the fuck would i be doin if i hadnt got obbsessed with this at a young age

If you think they have the right mentality for it without being dependant on it, sure.

It all depends on the person and their maturity, IMO.

I haven't recommend AAS to anyone in my family.

It's something kept in the dark....   :-X

there is no point in using steroids before 25, damn well not in teen years (19 ???)  when natural testosterone is abundant. When you introduce compound sinto your system at a young age you run a much greater risk of irreversable damage

As for doing steroids and training as an alternative to drinking and smoking drugs: bodybuilding is definitely a positive way to expend energy, but I think its going a little overboard to suggest that if you werent training and doing steroids, you would be out drinking and doing drugs. If that is the case, you should check into a rehab center.   ::)

I disagree. There is no exact number in terms of age of when it's right to start AAS IMO...sure 25 is most likely a safe bet though. However, there are those that do/would benefit from AAS use before 25yrs old IMO. They are in the minority but they are out there.

I´m with you A jr, i mean if you have started training when you were 12-15 and are now in you´re early twenties and have reached "advenced status" there is no point in waiting five years just because someone thinks you should. This is especially true to those who are trying to make a career in bb or powerlifting.

Good post.

I think the amount of years a person has been training "seriously" is more important than their age.

One of the college kids i train has been lifting since he was 14. he is 20 now and has a fantastic base of muscle. i've been teaching him alot about AAS and he wants to wait a few more years before his first cycle. this kid is very smart and strong as hell, he will make a great powerlifter natural or enhanced. it's been a good experience training this guy, as he listens very well and always give 110%.

i think under 18 is pushing it and 25 is a good "average" for a person to wait to try AAS.

I agree. I don't think there's a magic age that one should start AAS if they so choose. However, like Overload said I think 25 is a good place to start.
