Silvio arrived in the US in January and already he has accomplished so much, he competed in 7 shows, qualified 6 times for the Olympia, signed two lucrative contracts, one with AMI/Weider and one with Musceltech, he got his permanent residency, he started shooting his 1st DVD with Mitsuru Okabe and finally he got his first ride. And what a ride it is. A Grand Cherokee SRT V-8 with 420 HP and a V-6 engine, all tricked out with navigation system, DVD player, hook ups for PS3, 6 CD changers, chrome mag wheels, etc..

these days you can put zero down and get a decent monthly payment for a leased car. When you run the numbers it is actually cheaper than buying.

this wouldn't impact his ability to purchase realestate

yeah, but if you buy the car and finally pay it off completely, you own the car outright and only pay for insurance and maintenance. i think that is the route to go, rather than paying something you will never own

assuming that you keep the car for 7+ years, which at the point is when maintenance starts to play a factor..

and to be honest who wants the headache of a 10 year old car?

once again if you run the numbers leasing can be cheaper..considering that most leases have a maintenance package that covers everything even oil changes

Why buy when he can lease and write off the expense and gas as legitimate business expenses. Then he can just upgrade every two or three instead of dealing with the whole trade-in and purchase hassle.

BTW, apropos to your avatar, I saw Owen Wilson a few weeks back at gold's talking to the famous trainer TR (owner of Pro Camp). Owen looked totally jacked- all pale and he was barefoot.
