You guys need to forget about the 900 lb squat, here's 1800! (40 45 lb plates)

I'd be curious to see the range of motion on that squat. Machine or not that's a lot of weight.

...but then again that's a warm up set for most getbiggers.

If not it could be some dude with a straining look under his face standing under a racked squat machine. Doesn't look like he can move that. No belt either.

hahahahahahhaa, oh brother, what a joke, i should have figured it was the machine that all the 140 pounders load 9-10 plates per side on to look like a hero in the gym, reminds me of this easy ass Cybex plate loaded flat bench we used to have in my old gym that 150 pound guys would put 4 and 5 plates on each side and do reps. ::)

He should go under a barbell and try the same weight. I'd pay to see that.

hahahahha, the only thing he's doing is getting a hell of a trap workout just having that "weight" sitting on them, that and a compressed spine.

Obviously a lot of weight.

A lot of weight.

Can't be compared to any kind of squat number though, since they're two completely different excersises.

But if I have to guess: A deep squat with 600 lbs would probably be just as heavy.

I agree.  IMO, that machine is 100% useless.  The only thing it is good for is making non lifters and 140 lbs heros :o in amazement.  Its all an illusion or should I say delusion.  ;D
