i saw a vid of him doing something like 450lb squat for 20 reps

He was know for doing circuit training when preparing for a contest. he had some pretty good stamina. other times of the year he focused on pure power moves with rest in between.

it was a very sad loss. he was a fantanstic guy who was very personable and always willing to help others. he was always cracking jokes at contests to help cheer guys up after a bad lift.

it was 405 for 20 he did in that set you saw and he was doing a drop set on the night he passed away, something like 505x8, 405x8, 315x8, 225x8 and 155x8 then immediately flipped a tire and loaded a heavy stone.
