Anyone work in a pharmacy and know how this works?
i'm in Canada (keep that in mind) might be a little different in the system.
let's Say doctor prescribes me "ABC"
and i go on to make a copy of the prescription paper, change the date stamped on the paper, (photoshop)
all while keeping his signature and the other stuff exact, and have it pass at the pharmacy.
do they follow up with the doctors to see exactly what was prescribed, to who and when...?
or do they just take your prescription sheet, and disregard that once you've made the purchase and they don't follow up to see if it was legit.
reason is, with work insurance covering 80% of the cost, i get it at a much lower price than "black market" or "contacts" ...and the Doctor is gonna sooner or later stop me, or get annoyed if i keep asking for the same things all the time...etc..etc.
just wanted some input on that possible scenario.
peace
