If you deplete too greatly or for too long of a period of time and then try to "carb up hard", you won't be able to fill out in time. Also, the huge insulin spike caused by "carbing up hard" will ensure that you retain water while still remaining flat.
The highlighted comment alone would cause me to steer clear here.
Sean, Toopowerful know his sh!t. I just think everyone does things different.
Sean i am sure you know your sh!t as well but your comments others may not agree w/
My philosophy is I have no comprehension of timing it wrong or dropped my water to soon or didn't fill out in time.
My deal is your ready or your not. People say you can't hold conditioning I say BS. You should look like you want on stage two weeks out. The show should just be another day w/ some MINOR adjustments.
I never carb my athletes up that much maybe 50-100 extra day before maybe none. Hardly ever stop drinking water. just my philosophy. Most people that say they are holding water or flat are just still FAT.
Nobody is wrong just different ways of doing it.
