The spin at Fox is unbelievable when it comes to Ron Paul. He is constantly and viciously attacked by the likes of Hannity, Chris Wallace, and Brit Hume. I don't know if this is driven by actual fear or outright hatred. I've always been of a mind that if someone is so wrong on a particular subject(i.e., Fox's perception of Paul's Middle Eastern policies), why would the opposition want to shout him down in snarling anger? Wouldn't a calm and rational explanation be able to disarm Ron Paul? Obviously not at Fox news. Nothing but agenda-driven trash from news networks like Fox and CNN. But in the age of the free market and where "everybody is a reporter", the truth is all around us.
Ron Paul is in a rather unique situation. He is despised by the Neo-Cons, ignored by conservatives, and hated by liberals. Although, the hatred from liberals is a lot more subtle, as I find that many of them find Mr. Paul rather amusing and get enjoyment from him throwing a kink in the typical Republcian diatribes. I say hated by liberals is that many of his ideals go entirely against the grain of what liberals(socialists, in modern terms) believe in.....smaller central government, dissolving of major governmental entities, greater state rights, mass privatization, and of course, the refusal to pander to weird and hostile special interest groups such La Raza, NAACP, GLAAD, etc...
