From a physique standpoint he is the new Mike Ashley. Incredible physique that one would think could only be attained using drugs and yet the individual claims to be clean.

That said, Ashley ate meticulously. I remember him brining his food in plastic containers to the gym (Hoppe's in Phoenix). It was bodybuilder fare all the way (and it smelled BAD).

Personally, I doubt his claims, but who knows?

Even if he is natural, he is not respected because this all came way too easily for him.

We identify with people like us. That's what we as humans do.

Michael, even if he is natural, is NOT like us. We have nothing in common with him. We have nothing to learn from him. He doesn't inspire us. What we work so hard for, he was given without even trying. As we struggle with our eating, he gets to eat junk food. He doesn't have to subject himself to 5 to 8 meals a day and still way, way better than us.

Because of this, he will never win anyone "soul." natural or not, who cares. He doesn't add to the quality of our lives in any way.

Anyone who actually thinks he might be natural needs to delete their Getbig account immediately and join the bodybuilding.com message boards. You can come back in a few years once you've become a little more wise to they ways of the world.

Interesting thing about the diabetic thing.
A long long time ago I had a training partner who was insulin dependent and his ability to gain muscle was insane. He was naturally a gifted athlete but once he started weight training his results were exceptional (he was only 17/18 yrs old when I was training with him (in fact my first training partner). Not to the extent that Mr Lockett is but pretty amazing nonetheless. Bloody freaks...

lots of guys have eaten meticulously..(and why would your bring food in plastic containers to the gym....the usual bodybuilders obessiveness...you can eat fewer big meals and get as good results as if you eat 10 times per day..if you eat the same amounts of calories and proteins etc)...he probably would have been even better if not so obsessed.

as for lockett...there is nothing to doubt or discuss..this guy is on the juice. and he has been uping his dosages lately

look. the truth is somewhere in between...lockett tries to downplay his efforts.+ at the same time alot of obsessive bodybuilders are overdoing stuff..like eating 12 times per day or overcomplicating training
the bottom line is that lockett has to do the following things like everyone else to grow : stimulate the muscle by training + eat a surplus of calories. (+drugs)

the exact specifics are just details.

I don't know why everyone gets all weird about it. He tested negative for the myostatin gene. He is diabetic and lives on insulin - some big doses. He eats twizzlers nonstop all year long. Ask him about the diabetes. He considers it natural because hell, it's not a steroid, right?
