Dude a HUGE portion of the people in attendance there are involved in the industry in one way or another. Supp companies, competitive bbers etc. The fan base is already much diminished look at how low attendance is down over the last few years. The industry itself is keeping the olympia alive, not too many people the you can convince not to go.

Hmm.. let's see.  The 2007 Olympia was the best one yet, 8,000+ seats in the finals Saturday night, an expo full of people and the largest one yet, thousands of people from international and domestic buyers, fans looking at the latest supplements, and doing business. A Powerhouse Gym convention at the same time. A press conference that was so full, people were standing. A seminar on Sunday that was the busiest ever. A great time at the Olympia. Ronnie's last stint on the Olympia stage.

Robin Chang did the best job promoting and making sure all went well with details. Everyone had a great time.

And you call for a boycott.  I am willing to bet you weren't there, and you don't even support the industry. Why? Because Jay Cutler beat Victor Martinez. Boo hoo.

It was the right choice. Jay was the best Saturday night when it counted. Victor was better Friday night. It was very close. Very very close. And Jay won this battle.

Next year's battle will be an even fiercer one. It will be a great Olympia weekend too.

I respect Only Me, and Vince Goodrum much more that you. They at least come to the Olympia, see what goes on, instead of screaming fire for nothing.

So you are saying that Victor was better at the prejudging when 90% (at least) of the judging is done, but Jay somehow pulled a win out with what his posing routine? So you are saying that the prejuding doesn't count?

How can next years "battle" be a fiercer one when you have already stated that Jay will win again?

Question: Did I see Lou Zwick by the stage Saturday night?

If so, why?

I have a better idea, lets get the Feds to launch an investigation on the corruption of the IFBB, there's alot money involved in these shows and the federation, if they caught wind of any corruption and or contest fixing, that should wake up alot of these corrupt judges and federation heads..........I'm dead serious about this, something has to be done, Jay or Ronnie shouldn't have been anywhere near the top five and the scorecard being literally changed at the last minute should be somekind of an indicator.

These guys work too damn hard to only get screwed over, people say you have to pay your dues, thats bullshit, the best ones should win or place high reguardless wether it's their first Olympia or not. AGAIN JUDGES, COME ON THIS BOARD AND EXPLAIN YOURSELVES!!

Victor looked better at prejuding Friday night. My opinion. Jay was softer.

Jay looked better Saturday night. He won. Judges thought Victor looked better in the third round. Judges thought Jay looked better in the 4th round.

In each round, it wasnt unanimous with the judges. That is why you have 11 or more judges per round. Various opinions.

As for next year, yes, I already made my prediction with Isaac that Jay will win, while he took Victor to win. It is called a prediction.

I agree that the olympia and the expo is mostly a trade show.  most of the people attending both are in the industry.  there really aren't that many fans who can or would fly cross country to see a contest.

Of course Jay will win. Everyone knows that Jay wants to win 3 O's, so of course they are going to give it to him. We will remember Jay Cutler as the guy who didn't deserve any of the O's that he won.
No doubt about it...

so, basically ron, you have the inside that muscletech will be running it again and jay will remain faithful.

i'm with you on this prediction bud.

cool, now we don't need to attend.
