The phrase "bodybuilding organization" implies a sporting federation such as the IFBB, not a private company providing entertaimnent. Sure it's semantics, but it might be the basis of an argument if Lee wanted to sue. Again it goes back to the IFBB wanting to change hats between being a private company or a nonprofit sports federation depending on the situation.
NO BOB I HAVE BEEN SUSPENDED BEFORE 2 TIMES ACTUALLY AND A FINE ...AND ALWAYS ONCE TIME WAS UP LET BACK IN NO PROBLEM..THIS IS MORE PERSONAL ...SO STOP ACTING LIKE IT ISNT......I WAS ALWAYS A MEMBER EVEN WHEN SUSPENDED............
Hey, Lee said he can't stand the Rules of the IFBB and so he chose to leave. He got suspended when he tried to come back after crapping on the Weiders, Robin, AMI and everyone else associated with the industry. He's grown, matured and is now a Man on an Island without the PDI, which we all said would happen. That said, he will have to apply for re-instatement, wait in line and see what happens.Unfortunately for Lee, you simply can't SHIT where you Eat and later expect Desert when your bellies full. Too bad the PDI thingy didn't work out End of story.S. Ray
Wrong again. Lee wanted to compete in two federations - make extra income as professional bodybuilder. He never wanted out of the IFBB, as you seem to have made up on the spot. He was thrown out of the IFBB because the IFBB decided to uphold some rules and not others. Lee can you confirm that you did indeed LEAVE the IFBB? Did you want OUT of the IFBB? Or were you thrown out?
None of those suspensions were for competing in a rival federation....If those suspensions were within the course of the year, you would have been let back in when the suspension was up, as you were.
Chick:When Vince Mcmahon created a competing bodybuilding organization....didn't more than a few pros switch over, like Vince taylor, Aaron baker, Eddie robinson etc. etcIs Lee being given the same respect/treatment that these other competitors had when they wanted back in the IFBB???
What it "implies" is a bb show...plain and simple. If there were guys on stage posing and comparing physiques, for money, then it applies. If it walks like a duck....
AND WHILE SUSPENDED I WAS SENT ME RENEWAL FOR PRO CARD WHCIH I PAYED AND GOT NEW CARD WHILE SUSPENDED.......
OH AND YOU WERE SO AUIET WHEN YOU COMPETED WERENT YOU SHAWN....NOW YOU AND BOB NEED THE SPORT AND WILL DO ANYTHING AND SAY ANYTHING TO STAY IN THE IFBB GOOD GRACES....MY HOW THINGS CHANGE................YE S AND I STILL DONT LIKE THE RULES NOT MANY IFBB PROS DO.....AND YOU KNOW IT....JUST CASUE I SPEAK ON IT BIG DEAL...MAYBE IF THE OTHERS DID THINGS WOULD CHANGE SEEING AS THOU THEY HAVE THE POWER
So let me get this straight... you paid your dues and currently have a vaid IFBB card? And the 12-month suspension is over? Hmmmm.... Bob's argument all along has been that since your old card expired during your suspension and presumably you weren't issued a new one you currently were not a member of the IFBB and would have to apply for membership. I wonder what he has to say about this?
He's talking about years ago, when Wayne suspended him....
I don't need the IFBB to make money...95% of my income is from BB.com.As you can see from the mass exodus of 2 people (3 if you count yourself)...no other pro's cared to compete elsewhere. The PDI bombed out, and here we are EXACTLY where I told you we would be....
So if he was sent a renewal during suspension back then, why were different procedures followed this time around? Was there a specific rule change regarding these procedures in the interim, or is this just another case of the powers-that-be acting arbitrarily and doing whatever the fuck they want?
CAUSE NOW ITS PERSONAL...THATS WHY................. WAYNE WAS A BUISNESS MAN AND TREATED IT AS SUCH .........DIDNT HOLD A GRUDGE.....
...you know, Like Manion hasn't.
"some rules are more important than others" - Bob Chick, IFBB athletes representativethis is his politically correct way of saying the IFBB will do as it pleases, and the rule book / code of conduct is a farce.
This is called "reality"...welcome to it.Not sure where you're from...but here in America...the entire justice system is based on "some rules are more important than others"...Littering isn't as important as stealing, which isn't as important as assault, which isn't as important as murder....
Which is why different severities of penalties are spelled out in the law ("rules") for each offense. Littering may get you a $50 fine, stealing 30 days in jail, assult a year in state prison, and murder life in prison. That does not, however, excuse selective enforcement. Good thing you're not a cop anymore.
You're right.....all of those do apply. And if you knew what you were talking about (which you clearly do not)...you would see that there has never been any indication that Lee would be taken back....only that he could apply for reinstatment.
