I am dissappointed in Getbig and I am shaking my head at the strange paradox you mindlessly created for yourselves.

You have longed for a pro bodybuilder to tell you the truth, to shake things up and make changes in the corrupt world of bodybuilding. You sit here day in and day out complaining about how the sport used to be better and how you wished things would change.

Now here comes a champion that is doing exactly what you wished for and what do you do? You discredit him.
Heres the paradox: You want someone on the inside to expose the truth. But the only way for a person get on the inside is to play the game. That's what Nasser did. Now you are holding that against him. wtf?

Who exactly are you waiting for? Mother Teresa is 6 feet under, The Dalia Lama has a few problems of his own and Arnold was just as corrupt as all of them and could care less about the future of bodybuilding.

Nasser may not be a saint but he is doing the right thing now. To discredit him is irrational?

Show some support for a guy who is trying to do some good.

i met Nasser in 2000 at a show here in Missouri, really nice, funny guy but seems like the type of dude who would be nice to your face and talk shit about you behind your back.

what's funny are when people with a vested interest in the sport - will say Nasser is LYING.

When nasser said that 95% of pros use small sit injections somewhere, that was pretty accurate. Jay's delts/biceps. Dim's triceps. King's biceps. Darrem's shoulders. Martinez' Calves. The rest are more subtle but veterans can pick it up easily.

yet those around the sport - by orders from above - had to say that was nonsense, that no one really uses injections. If you've been around the sport for any amount of time, you know that a lot of guys shoot shit to fix weaknesses.

kind of hypocritical for Nasser to call thes eguys out on site injections when he did it himself, THEY ALL DO IT, Ronnie does it, Jay does it, Melvin does it, Dexter does it, Victor does it.

yeah i'm not saying synthol but THEY ALL site inject propionate or other test esters directly into the muscle.

As much as I used to admire Naz as a competitor, he should of one at least once in the late 90's. I think he has an ax to grind.

nobody's saying that they don't respect the guy, you have to respect the dedication and effort he put into building that 1996-1997 version of his physique but he's being hypocritical calling guys out on something he did himself.

I don't think his tone was "calling them out," he was basically trying to defend himself by saying that what he did is no different than what other pros did, in terms of site injections that is. In terms of being uneducated drunkards who sell themselves, that he rightly confining to others, without naming them of course.

We are not going to get any better whistleblower than him. So why not support him?

Without guys like Nasser telling the truth the lies will just continue. Its like the mafia guys that turn states evidence. Without these guys you will not get to the root of the problem. Thats why I think getbig should support him in his whistleblowing (no gay jokes please), you dont have to like him as a bodybuilder.

Mindlessly believing everything the guy says would be foolish, but the bull has a point. Although I haven't followed this too closely, his statements which I've read were basically echoes of the most common complaints made on this board.

Has he posted anything directly on Getbig? He'd get some flames but I think he'd be well received overall.

the things nasser says aint nothing we didnt already know..he just gave us some details. what nasser says will change nothing.

and yes i think nasser was a great bodybuilder. im not a nasser hater.

nasser is already posting on getbig...would be cool if he and ron got him an official account tho.

Nasser was awesome in 96 and arguably beat Dorian in 97. Shame he's still struggling on - should have quit a long time ago.

Not to mention someone who being described as a class act with fans would be an understatement. What other pro will you meet at an expo for 2 minutes who will remember your name after not seeing you for over a year? Only Nasser baby!
