I'm having a discussion with a gymmate about this and I think it's bad for the metabolism, and that you'd burn muscle first thing in the AM.

He says it's great cause it burns fat stores or seomthing.

Who is right?  Should you have breakfast before cardio?  Why/Why not?  thanks!

A.M. low intensity on empty stomach is debatable . . .

Do HIIT cardio and stop wasting your time doing low intensity. . .

Doing low intensity cardio trains your body to store fat more easily. . .ie. if you are using your emergency fat stores, your body will then try to replace them at the earliest possible time. . .a simplistic explanation but anyway:)
The KEY is diet. . . .and always will be.
You said you have a trainer. .if this is for motivation, that is great. . .but don't expect to learn anything from a "regular" pt. .which most of them are. . . .:)

affy
