Sevastase's "90 pound" shoulder presses
« on: October 26, 2007, 11:35:38 AM »
Now i'm not calling 90 pound presses super heavy as i and many others (as well as maybe you) do them.  I am calling BS to your claim those DB's are indeed 90 pounds.

Let the getbig members post their thoughts......i say judging from the plates, they're 70's tops

Like I said, the dude is strong considering how small he looks, for the weight he puts up he should be alot bigger.

go watch and pause the vid and see the plates........3 tens on each side with maybe a 5.  Handle weighing maybe 3 pounds.....thats 73 pounds (75's)    NOT 90's

my point being is that this dude, IMO, fabricates his lifts w fake plates and/or bs claims

I would be willing to bet that the percentage of get biggers who are shoulder pressing 90's and doing them correctly (where the range of motion is enough to actually hit the delts) is very low...

Why go that low? They only need to come parallel with the ground. Any lower is dangerous.

actually I was wrong..all the dumbells are 1 kg heavier than what's written on them because of the handles...so they are 39 kg dumbells...sorry 86 lbs dumbells....my bad.
