...on such a large scale (I believe the Great Pyramid is 470ish feet high) even careful string measurements can be accurate to small percents of a second of arc; that's how crop circles are made by crop circle enthusiasts. Contrary to popular, belief the Egyptians seem to have understood something regarding magnetic north... they certainly understood true north and that the earth was a sphere as they chose the Giza site which is at exactly 30 degrees north and discussed the Earth as being a sphere in their mythology.

We know that they had extensive calendars maintaining records on the heliacal risings of stars and planets and their astrology and zodiac shows that they had precisely mapped all the main visible stars and calculated their cycles and even calculated the precessional cycle.

Just one year of such observations would allow anyone with a basic understanding of geometry to align the pyramids as accurately as they are actually aligned... the Egyptians claimed to have kept such records for centuries.

It's pretty simple really; wait till the equinox (there's one every six months); watch the rotation of the stars at night (simple stick markers at the rising points of each as viewed from one specific perspective would suffice); mark the point on the northern and southern horizon that the stars seem to rotate around and assuming the northern and southern markers are several hundred feet apart, a papyrus string between the points will give you a precise true north... then you just wait till dawn and the rising sun will cast shadows exactly due west.
...I thought the video made it pretty obvious, they just built the pyramid level by level and used it as a giant staircase passing up bags of wet cement/concrete to the workers who stamped the mush into a cast. The cement/concrete probably only went up in 10 kg loads... a simple train of people passing buckets/baskets would suffice.

...the Egyptians claim it took 100,000 people 29 years to build the Kufu/Cheops/Great Pyramid, but that the workers only worked 3 months each year on the pyramid: it was a form of labour taxation. No Hebrew slaves required... no aliens required... just some big ass cement mixing baths (did I mention such huge basins were found beside the Giza pyramids... stone lined rectangular basins more than a hundred feet long; three of them at last count if I remember correctly).

They certainly could have built the pyramids... papyrus reed is edible and so Egypt had massive food surpluses each year; they didn't live hand-to-mouth like most other civilizations of that time. They had a large, skilled workforce who had nothing to do for three months of every year when the Nile flooded.

The life expectancy bit is a red herring also... Egyptian mummies show quite clearly that even the commoners lived into their 40s... Ramses II lived to be 80 and ruled Egypt for more than 60 years for example. They weren't cave men; they had doctors and medicines and healthcare.

They certainly could have built other pyramids... and they did, at Saquara and other places. In the deserts of the Sudan are the ruins of the city of Kush; home of the black nubian Pharaohs who held sway over Egypt for centuries. Kush is filled with hundreds and hundreds of 25 foot tall mini-pyramids.

...open a history book dude.
The Chinese; Phoenicians; Olmecs; Aztecs; Toltecs; Falashas; Mayans; Moche and Incas all built pyramids, and many of them have similar proportions to the Giza pyramids and are also built of concrete. The Pyramid of the Sun in Mexico City is several times larger than the Great Pyramid at Giza.

There's a circular mound pyramid an hours drive from my house (Newgrange at Knowth, Ireland) that's 500 years older than anything in Egypt and that one was exactly aligned to the rising sun on the wid-winter solstice by a bunch of forest dwelling ruffians named the Breithin (my ancestors).

...the Luxor Hotel in Las Vegas is a steel and concrete frame hollow pyramid and it's bigger than the Great Pyramid.

Surely that's more impressive than the fact that a pile of concrete with a low incline situated in a geologically stable area is still standing 5,000 years later. The Giza Pyramids aren't even that well built, echo-sounding shows some of the interior is built to a much lower standard than the outer casing stones and a strong earthquake in the 19th century shook all the casing stones off the three Giza Pyramids.

Their perseverance has more to do with the fact that they are built on a robust piece of bedrock, if Egypt had a rainfall comparable to say... my homeland here in the Land of Perpetual Drizzle... then the Giza pyramids would have dissolved a thousand years ago.

I don't want to fight with anyone, and as a lifetime natural it's probably not my place to comment... but I hope "gh15"/Nasser/Achim-Albrecht/daddywaddy (whoever he is) researches his steroid theories better than he does his weird alien conspiracy theories (and that's coming from someone actively involved in the effort to obtain DNA from the North American Sasquatch).

The Luke

as i said before you wont be able to pursued me and i wont be able to do vise versa to you,,you come from a specific science and logic that is very common among humans especially with higher education in sciences,,

i wont even try answering you in paragraphs but i will tell you write a good piece is one thing and to actually do it is a complete different thing,,

you have lots of assumptions and lots of facts that you claim to be facts about what humans could and couldnt do in those times,,what you say can not be changed unless a solid proof get to you,,a solid proof will not get to you and thus you will die believing that the pyramid of giza were built by humans and humans only,,,

you also in your way twisted the bible by saying that the hebrwes didnt build the pyramids and heabre egyptians as in black hebrwes but still never the less hebrews ,,twisting the bible is a big big no no with me because the bible in its way prepare you for what will come,,,from the opening of the sea by moses to the sky rocketing of alisa into the heavens,,it is full with what you call ufos and phenomenons that you will most likley put into simple earth atmospheric changes,,

i have one slight advantage than you and it is this:
i actually have the the actualy knowledge of what im talking about,,it may be only words,,but never the less i consider the source to be 100% credible and even smatrer in his writing skills than you

the pyramids of giza and i dont know about other structure but i assume they were too in a way but im not sure,,the pyramids of giza were directed in built by extra terestrial that were not origin in planet earth

to this day there is not even one single duplicate nor height of combo of pyramids that is that accurate in relashion to the time talked about,,none of the shit built now is as accurate as then,,,that is why it can stand the test of time,,

again you are missing one thing ,,it is small but it is huge,,you are missing a link of the puzzlw and only can see it via what you been thought in school,,

life has its way to find the truth,,its coming now out in the massess,,couple other people will lose their own achievments and history in the journy to reveal what happened along human kind history,,but! there will come a day that your grand childrens and their grand children will know what happened on earth to an exact detail and be able to live at peace and configure the bible into all of this with out changing even one written word in it because it was prepared this way for generations to come

right now we are at mid process of the vatican changing and getting ready to intergrade it all into its philosophy of things,,vatican is slow but john pail the saint did and i believe even now have his spirit in it and had his spirit in it through out his times,,

there is a lot you dont know in that one little but yet huge piece of puzzle ,,in yuor head its all science that origin on earth and you cant accept anything other than solid proof,,and you sure will if not you then your grand grand son will for you

god bless you though,,youre smart kid

you can only talk about other structure after you been inside the pyramids of giza or around them,,only then you can refer to other structure ,,and the ones you mentioned i know nothing about some tall some not some built these days some earlier but none have the pyramid era with combination of the facts i said in previous posts,,i really dont have a clue to other buildings  but i know that they cant be as strong nor as sophisticated from within in relashion to era ,,in addition they would go a lot more changes with time and see 911 for what happens to building built today,,,and no im not talking about the hit building but building 7 and the such,,

you as a whole simply not ready,,its as simple as that,,one day you will if not then your ancestors will
