Agreed.  Republicans may have better economic ideas when it comes to social spending, but their wastefulness on the war is inexcusable and I highly doubt the democrats would have wasted nearly as much money, and I would argue that the money would be better spent - not that I agree with social welfare, but it's better than wasting money on a war for oil.

I both agree and disagree with you. I LOL at your view on republicans taking a stand against terrorist( only because I do not think terrorism is the main motive for the war in IRAQ)but I agree 150% about our tax dollars going to bums that won't work. Both parties suck...there needs to be a happy medium in there somewhere.


           P.S. I also agree with sarcasm about Flex's kidney...but he will try and have you believe his condition was hereditary...so that's the angle on that argument.

they should NEVER give ANYONE  who has a history of abusing any drug be it steroids, rec drugs or alcohol a kidney transplant, total waste that would be better spent on a kid or someone with no history of abusing drugs.

that's a load of crap.  if you were next on the list, would you deny it just because you might have used steriods?  Flex was clean for a long time, I don't know what he is doing now, and that man does have amazing genetics, but if there is a willing donor, they must know what they are getting themselves into.  If what you say were true, does that mean that someone who smokes cigarettes their whole life and gets cancer, there is no point in treating them because they are just going to keep smoking?  that's just plain stupid.  The medical state in our country doesn't do much for prevention, but they sure do have anything and everything available to treat infection. ($$$$$$)

He became 'clean" when he had to go to hospital for kidney failure.  He was clean for about 3 months before getting the new organ.
