damn, that's from flex magazine. :o

they use fake plates. :(

your boy couldn't do that weight flat. ;)

Oh yeah, so Flex Magazine's "fake plates" are what broke JP's legs when doing a 675 lb raw squat attempt?  ::)

i don't know and don't give a shit about jp or what he was trying to do.

what i do know is that flex use fake plates for their shoots and that nasser was using them.

he has NEVER inclined 495.

Flex started using fake plates AFTER the JP incident, which was well after the 495 lb press.  Therefore, Huge Nasser did incline 495 and you dont know what you're talking about

He got bored and stopped the set short.  In his videos he does much more than that for dumbell presses and incline barbell press.

tell you how we can settle this.

you've got every training video nasser has ever done, right?

show me a single clip where nasser is incline pressing 495 for reps and i'll put whatever message you like on my avatar?

think about it...why would he stop ?...also in " Nasser on the way " he uses lame poundages including 1/8 squatts with legs all shaking and trembling.

Somebody else, an unbiased non-Team-Nasser member posted here that he stopped the set short.

Which Nasser on the Way are you referring to about the squats?  Most of the earlier ones are shot in precontest mode when he doesnt lift as heavy.

As an example of his chest workout, in part 3, he starts off his working sets of dumbell press with 150's and does a fair number of good-paced, good-form reps.  At the very end of his chest workout, after like 12 working sets, he does incline barbell press for a full set with 315.  I'm sure if he were to start with incline as opposed to doing it at the end of his workout he could do at least 405, and for lower reps and earlier in his career when he was lifting heavier I can believe 495.

so you can 'believe' 495 for reps at some point in his career but you've never seen him incline more than 315 in any of the 50 000 videos you've got of his training?

hahaha he doesnt do incline at the start of his workout in any of the videos.  However, his strength on incline at the end of his workout is equivalent to 405 for reps at the start of his workout.  Ronnie Coleman in the BFTO video does incline with 315 at the start of his workout, but that doesnt mean he can't do more.

don't know what mathematical formula you used to equate 315 later in his workout as meaning he can do about 100lbs more at the start ???

apparently you can also correlate 315lbs with 200lbs more at another stage in his career.

i'd love to know the formula you use to work these numbers out bob?  ;D

Amazing, 495 lb incline barbell press....the stronger bros barely get any reps out on flat bench press with that type of weight, but Huge Nasser tosses it around for incline!

So wheres the clip? I can only see some pics.

Heres the way its meant to be

lol, there's no mathematical formula, it's called common sense if you've been working out for some time that you can do a lot more weight on your first working set of your workout than at the very end.  Try doing 12 working sets for chest, including flyes, and then see how much weight you can do for incline bench compared to what you would do if you started with incline bench.

i dont think that the plates are fake.

flex only started using fake plates after jp got hurt.

however, cant be certain that nasser did a full rep.

he could have unracked the weight, then brought it down a 1/4 or 1/2 and then had ian re-rack it.

the pic just shows nasser unracking the weight.

wouldn't it stand to reason that he would do something similar in one of his training videos

yet in the 100s or videos so that you guys have he does not, yet he does for a flex picture shoot  ::)
Here comes the money shot
