curl 255? how long have you been lifting weights again? i would, perhaps, accept it if you called it a cheat curl, but the correct terminology would be a partial reverse clean. i say partial because to successfully clean the weight, you actually have to get it to your shoulders, whereas nasser barely bends his arms. $:-\$ hmmm, maybe he felt he didn't need to work his biceps? he has plenty of synthol to take care of that. kind of makes sense now. he's giving his very weak lower back some much needed work.

may i suggest that you read some books on kinesiology and sports science bobs? there you can learn the appropriate names for different exercises, how to perform them and how one exercise has nothing to do with the other ie incline bench pressing 130lb dumbells does not equal incline benching 495lbs for reps.

I'm going to read through your meltdown and try to address any actual questions you raised.

1) I was referring to "partial rep deadlifts." You can call it what you want. You do need significant strength to move the weight off the rack from the bottom, and I find for myself I can not do more weight on partial rep deadlifts than full reps, except I can get about double the reps when doing partials. Based on that I imagine it would be similar in Nasser's case.

2) That's not a partial reverse clean, that's a curl. Plain and simple. Can't elaborate much more on that. I guess I just don't have as simple terminology to make someone of your intelligence understand, so I'll leave it at that. I also take it you havent seen the video.

You have to feel at least a little sorry for this big, balding, cross-eyed freak. Just a few years ago, he was knocking on the door to the Mr. Olympia, and even won the Arnold Classic. Usta was one of the first real monsters in bodybuilding, competing at 285 pounds at 5' 11" and putting the fear of God into men like Dorian Yates. But over the past couple years, Usta has been steadily slipping down the ranks. At the most recent Olympia and Arnold Classic, he was ridiculed and reviled for the gobs of Synthol evident in his rear delts and barely cracked the top ten at both events. Since he's only 35, he has no intentions of giving up. Instead, he'll just keep pumping in the drugs and hope the judges suddenly start to like him again. I just wonder how much longer his poor, battered body can hold up.

Just going through some photos for the next Nasser interview. Here is one of him when he won the Yugoslav Championships in 1989 as an amateur. 1st in the heavyweights. This photo was taken one year before his first pro show: the 1990 Grand Prix Finland where he placed 8th.

I emailed Max_Rep last night, he's the mod who put Nasser's statement in the dump. Have not gotten a reply. I thought that was pretty ignorant for any mod to do.

So then I made a new thread on the main page with basically Nasser's message copy and pasted and shortly after that another ignorant mod grouped it with the Nasser merged threads, yet they do not merge Milos or Jay Cutler threads, etc.

Nasser had been training for roughly three years at that point. It is interesting to note that he was very muscular even before he began training with weights.
