What do repubs think of Bush today?
« on: December 04, 2007, 04:37:48 PM »
55% of repubs in new hampshire approve of Bush.

72% of repubs in S carlina give him 2 thumbs up.

80% of repubs in Iowa still love Bush

Bush lied to your faces today.
He claimed he didn't know something that he obviously did, 3 months ago.

Yet 80% of you in Iowa still support a man who lied to you.

You're fcking pathetic.  ;D

I asked this Bush supporter the same question last week.  I doubt anything has changed since last week.  He said Yeah I am still with Bush because of his religious beliefs.   ::)

Unreal how many blind people we have in this country.

Both Clintons have lied about more than any republican in recent years.. yet they're still loved by many.

2 people show up to babysit your kid.

One is a child rapist.
One is a child murderer.

Do you hire the rapist because he's "not as bad" as the murderer?

Or, do you stay home and maybe call a different babysitter?

Brix, you're essentially saying that you'll go with a guy who tried to start a 3rd war - based on something we now know he KNEW wasn't true - because of what a dem contender's husband did????

Bro, thousands of Americans would have died in a war against Iran.  He would have just sent them to their death for war greed.  Yet you let your hatred for slimy-ass Clinton allow you to support him?

Horrible comparison.

I wasn't just talking about Hillary.  Let's not forget how Bill allowed 9/11 to happen in the first place and let 3000+ CIVILIANS die.

Don't accuse me of hatred when it's obvious you're hatred for Bush blinds you to your own hypocrisy.

Bush was told on Aug 5, 6 weeks before the attacks, and did nothing.
Details and 5 of their names, and the date.  he did nothing.

He stayed on vacation, actually.

Clinton was out of office 9 months before the attacks.
During those 9 months, we had 29 foreign intelligence warnings, including Isr and Germany, tell us that 911 was going to happen.  Clinton wasn't privy to that info, and didn't run the country at this time.  Bush did.

You're not giving us an intelligent argument here.

Bush had warnings - specific warnings.  CLinton was retired for 9 months.

(and before you say clinton let osama go in 98, remember Bush did EXACTLY the same thing in 2005 in pakistan!)

first of all you believe it was our government that did the whole thing.. so now you are or were lying, or your just now admitting your an idiot.

second of all, the president has very little to do with making decisions in law enfocement. do you think that everything that goes on they notify the presifdent first? they dont

3rd, it was clintons CIA. clintons FBI. not bush. and everyone knows under clinton, he totally fucked up both of the organizations.

kh,

Why didn't Bush do something to fix the CIA/FBI in those fisrt 9 months of his presidency?

He took a 6 week summer break amid very specific threats.

You blame clinton for that?

it takes a solid 2-3 years just to hire and train a new agent. cant be done overnight. and why does bush hold all of the responsibility for everything? like i said, when it comes to law enforcement, he has almost northing to do with what goes on. he can fire the head of the CIA, he can hire a new security chief. but thats it, he doesnt make decisions for them, or tell them what to do

did we have any counter terrorism before 911? did clinton do anything about this after we were attacked? why not

I'm not a big fan of your argument style.  You're saying the prez of the US, the most powerful man on earth, had no power nor duty to heed obvious warnings form heads of other states (and our own agencies) about 9/11.

We're not on the same page here, man.  Have a nice day.

240.....social conservatives are stupid, thats why

they think that hating sinner dems is their ticket into heaven.
in the meantime, they support elective wars for oil and profit.  wars where a lot of people die.  The dems want to get out of the war, but THEY are the evil ones?  Go figure!

fear of the unkown is what drives their intolerance and hatred, and thats what drives them to support certain candidates, and thats what drives them to the polls..

i voted for bush twice.  learning about 911 and the lies of WMD was enough to drive me from the party, at least until this neocon group retires and true conservatives return.

I've been to over 40 states and have lived in 6 countries and have travelled the world. I would hardly make the claim you have that I never travelled enough. Places like Kansas, Nebraska, Arkansas et al. are living repositories of white trash...still adhering to ancient religious mythology and crude notions of human existence. Why do we have an idiot in the White House? Well, that takes idiots in the electorate.

What about Kerry following those same religious traditions and failing to get elected?
