yea, a 235 pound guy who does 225 for 25 reps cant bench 400 ?  ::)  Ive seen tow naturals at around 210 pounds do that when i was in college.

Youre nuts if you think Tebow can only bench 310 pounds.

Look at the picture above and pretend you have never heard this guys name or any of his lift records. Now, imagine he posts these same claims here on Getbig as an ordinary guy and gets called out by everyone here saying post pics and prove it. You, me and everyone else here would say, hell no, he can't bench 450 after seeing the pic above. Jamal Lewis, running back, while at Tennessee claimed a 435 pound benchpress and he is a pure beast compared to Tebow. Don't believe everything you read.

Tebow could bench 400+ no problem.  I just watched a hilight video of him, he threw some linebacker about 10 yards out of bounds with one arm, hahahaha-that guy is a genetic freak.

I know this dude back home who can flip tractor tires and move around car engines all day long, but get him in the weightroom and he can't do 250 on the FBP. Because you toss a linebacker proves nothing.

Because one reports it as true and the rest regurgitate what the others said. Proves nothing. And it said 450, not 400, a huge difference.

The origional post says 450, not 400.

And from what I saw on those sites you listed... his weight was 210-225, not 235.

Don't ask me bro, ask SIRTRAPS. Look at this qoute from the training board:

whats your average weight used on shrugs
« on: November 23, 2007, 10:58:24 AM » Quote

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(barbell) and what is considered "good weight" ?

I use 235-240 pounds and do 6-8 reps with good form.  I warm up with 135 to 185, 185 is too easy and doesnt do much.

Its an individual thing like everything else, but this is an exercise i never used to do, and really like them.  D-bells suck and expose you more to a rotator cuff injury in my opinion.
End Quote

He uses 235 for shrugs and you can always shrug alot more than you can bench, so this kid could teach us all how to break 185, maybe even 200 on the bench one day. Shoot for the stars, huh SirCraps...

I incline 405 on a regular basis, and this is after giving it to your mom missionary style for a couple of hours, and you know how that pre-exhausts the tri's.  ;)
