Was a very hard decision for him. He was the FIRST franchisee of the original World's in 1979  in Hamden, CT.

His partners could not turn down the 14,000+ members they now have at one of their locations alone.

Its sad because that's the gym that really influenced me to get into the BBing lifestyle. I used to see Pro BBer's there all the time when I was a young kid going there with my uncle.  All the huge wrestlers used to go there also.  It was sad to see what it turned into.

Joe looks great and won the Masters CT about 7 years ago, he's about 51 years old now. Still trains hard at his brother's gym, "Metal Health" in Wallingford, CT.
