Also on the fact most sales people are very bad. They have no idea they have to sell themselves.
I started my own business selling to retailers, and even with some 'tricks' i have written down to put my product on the shelf, they are last minute resorts once they think it's ok but need an extra push. If the person doesn't want to buy off me, they don't buy off me. They have to like you and you have to know how to adapt your personality in each case. Which many many people have no idea how to do.
