And i said:

Where's the problem? By idiot, i meant Hide, not you.

that i agree with wholeheartedly. hide was an idiot alright. in fact, it's hard to fathom how a guy like hide could be so idiotic.

He's an IFBB pro, isn't that enough?

I guess it's so normal for these guys to carry stuff around, that they don't even realize it anymore.

If i saw a Gorrilla walk through customs id be searching his lugguge for Bananas ;D

Your right Beast.

Customs are girls whenever i went for a trip to Asia in the 90s i had long hair dressed like a hippie and i was targeted everytime, the assholes in Thailand broke my pool cue because they thought it was hollowed out carrying heroin.

Sorry Donkykong

 ;D

oh it's human alright, but there should be protocols put in place to prevent this very thing from happening.

you being tageted for long hair and your dress is NO DIFFERENT to a bber being tageted and i would just as strongly fight both scenarios in a court room.

individual freedom is what our ancestors fought and died for (theoretically anyway) and if you asked every one of those soldiers in iraq what they're doing over there, 90% of them would tell you the exact same thing.

so tell me why the fuck we are so apathetic as a society that we hand that freedom over so easily ("oh, that's just the way it is man.")?

Profiling works, even if it's unofficial.

If you see a sweating, cleanly-shaven muslim man mumbling prayers to himself before getting on a place, do you think he is going to be "randomly" selected for a search.

My guess is yes.

Did I miss something?  How does everyone know that Hide was profiled?  No one even knows what he was carrying.  If he was carrying narcotics, the guy really doesn't look like a narco dealer.  We don't even know the circumstances of the bust.  Could be he tried to carry it on in a bag and was the subject of a routine sec check at the terminal gate.  Everyone goes thru those.  In which case he is an even bigger moron that anyone really thought.

there are overt actions that can be inferred ie sweating, etc. added to that the fact that terrorism is a whole different ball game, especially in 2007/8.

they should frisk white guys in ties.

67% of Americans now want a new 911 investigation.

Seems all the insider trading right before 911 means a lot of rich white guys on Wall Street knew which airlines would see their stock crash the next day.

that's not profiling, that's victimization and it's against the constitution (not that that appears to mean much).

customs are not meant to target people. they are meant to target overt acts ie suspicious actions, and suspicious items ie belongings look disturbed, etc.

btw, who defines natural status? you? if layne norton or skip lacour walk through customs should they be searched every time?

that profiling, at least it is in this country.  where are you from?

profiling has nothing to do with the physical appearance of subjects walking through customs my friend.

profiling is a criminal data base which takes into account things like modus operandi (mehthod of operation), psychological and psychiatric characteristics of particular criminals, environment, upbringing, habitat, motivation, etc etc.

67% of polls are useless.  ;D  You can use polls to prove a lot of things.  There are far more valid reasons why 911 should be investigated again.

Isn't that the same stock market scam used in the most recent James Bond movie?

You have to be pretty dumb to look like he does and to try and get "illegal substances" through the airport.
