Would Fedor have a problem fighting in the UFC?
« on: December 31, 2007, 06:49:37 AM »
Most pride fighters had problems and losses coming to the UFC

Do you reckon fedor would too?

Yeah, that guy that destroyed his brother, Verdum or whatever, is maybe one of the worst fighters in the UFC now judging by his fight with Arlovski. I think Fedor could beat guys like Mike Whitehead, but he would have no chance against studs like Cabbage, Lesnar etc.

It's obvious Fedor is afraid of real competition. Makes no sense that CC and Wanderlei had the balls to come to the UFC and Fedor is scared. I wonder how much more he is making by fighting these freaks rather than fight real competition?

Yes, that's why Rampage came to the UFC and won the belt in less than a year.  ::)

There isn't one HW in Fedor's league.

i would just love for the UFC to accept PRIDES rules, face stomps and all.then maybe these bjj guys would stop having such boring wrestling matches and have more actual fights.

with sambo I think fedor could fight in any environment. open space or close quarters he could manage himself.

I like seeing mma in a ring.

This is an opinion so I don't want an attack  :) I think the octagon is tooo big for fighting, no where in life do you get this amount of space to fight. I would like either mma to go back to a ring like pride had or to copy what chuck norris has in his organization. a large mat. The cage isn't practical.

He would probably be better in a cage, his Gnp is sick and he is dangerous off his back, plus he is hard to control on the ground.  I don't think it would be much of a factor.  He isn't scared of the competition, he just won't bow down to the greed of the bald eagle Dana White.

We are talking Fedor though, imagine his Gnp with diving elbows added to that arsenal.  Fedor's game plan is to be prepared for every aspect of a fight and he trains opponent specific on top of that, I'm sure if he fought in the cage he would be well prepared.  Fedor unlike alot of the other Pride guys never really solely relied on face stomps, or kneeing a downed opponent in the head.  He would probably benefit from elbows in his Gnp.

The horse-faced PRIDE fanboy getting his panties in a bunch.

Don't worry my ugly friend, one day Fedor will stop acting like a punk-ass bitch, get in the octogon and take his BEAT DOWN like a man.
