LOL  :) Lori did you see this  :o

I'd imagine so, of course she did.  She is after all, one of the few women on our girlyforum.

& I went to the off license for another bottle of wine.

Lori perhaps has more decorum than I and will wait to respond (whereas I tend to lash out if I am able to, especially when women are treated with disrespect.

Well men are the ones making it that way.  So why the hell would I want to be one of them?  I like to be part of the solution, not the problem.   :D

Besides, women got one up on men...they can use sex to their advantage in a lot of instances.

I honestly do not see this as some kind of advantage.

I actually view it as women constantly being objectified, and instead of competing with competence, they have to resort to other variables, sexually attractive being one of them.

Suggested reading: A vindication of the rights of Woman, by Mary Wollstonecraft, perhaps the greatest feminist book of all time.

I could think of only one reason to be a woman, but it is a very good one: Constantly laying in the bed and playing with the tits and the ass. 8)

haha B_S and I go back a long ways, and I actually thought that was quite funny.

Does that mean I don't have any decorum?   ;D

There's a difference between being objectified and making the most of what you've been given, especially in a world where men try to put women at a disadvantage.  It's just another tool in a woman's toolchest.  It's a fact of human nature that men can go weak over a little poontang.   ;D

periods, pregnancy, child birth, menopause, living life ruled by your emotions, having to be the "catcher" instead of the "pitcher", being considered the lesser species in most of the world, having to sit & use use TP when you pee, high heeled shoes, make up, hair maintenance, peaking at 23 in terms of physical beauty...holy shiat it sucks to be female.  :-\ :-\

"catcher" instead of the "pitcher"

you wouldn't understand.  It's far better to behold

plus a woman would be neither the catcher or the pitcher.  She'd just pick up afterwards.

Very good point. Not to mention that in a lot of countries, women are considered a liablilty. In the middle east they get treated like shit. Verbal and physical abuse is a normal everyday life for a woman over there. Terrible.

Over there?  :-\  Playboy, ...have you ventured out to take a peek elsewhere on these boards lately?
Over there! Sha right!  ::)

Obviously the best option would be to be a white woman in the Western world (nowadays...

Forgive me if I don't fully agree with that statement, ...'cause personally, ...I have it real good.  :)

There was a thing on the news this morning which made me laugh out loud about how Western men feel lost and hard done by.

Old news, if you ask me, because it's about time !

Nah, I like being a woman.  I don't necessarily think men have it all good either and I'm sure some men would agree.

Did you read my post above?  Women have it bad.  Men, on the other hand, have it pretty good.  Just by being born male, we are guaranteed higher income potential, we are physically stronger, and we get better with age.

Is it horrible to be a woman?  No.  But it's definitely better to be a man...

periods, pregnancy, child birth, menopause, having to sit & use use TP when you pee,

I agree w/Yem that the above aren't enviable (although some women would disagree)

living life ruled by your emotions,  peaking at 23 in terms of physical beauty

I don't agree the above are statements are true for all women

high heeled shoes,

I love high heeled shoes :)

make up, hair maintenance,

We aren't forced to wear make-up or spend a lot of time on our hair, these things are seen as enjoyable by some of us. :)

having to be the "catcher" instead of the "pitcher",

I've never thought about the "pitcher" being the enviable "position," but I disagree.  The "catcher" doesn't have to worry about possible performance issues, or size etc.

Other male issues:

Walking around w/those things can't be comfortable, if you watch a baseball game, it's apparent they constantly itch or are in the wrong position etc.

High school gym class "embarrassments"

Our society unfortunately in general thinks the man should be the bread-winner and when he's not, his ego may suffer

Some Mr. Moms unfortunately are made to feel badly

Men are usually more stinky, hairy and shun kleenex.  But I loves 'em ;D

lol.

By the definition, only half the men have below average "members", so half the men don't have size concerns. Glad to be in the well above average group!

How about having to wait 5x as long to get to a bathroom in a crowded bar? Is that enjoyable, too?

I haven't had to to play with the photo programs on my mac.  She has finally stopped howling through the night...yeah!  I taught her how to sit!  I'll get around to posting pics soon.

BTW, don't women have the same issues of inferiority and discomfort with breast, as men do with units?

No, waiting in line to urinate is not enjoyable!  I'm not in crowded bars much these days but when I was if the men's room was unoccupied, we'd just skip the line, go in the men's room and have someone watch the door.   :)

BTW, urinal cakes stink  :P

I'm sure some do...with the exception of the itching ;D

Unless you've been both, one wouldn't REALLY know which is better.  Both have their advantages and disadvantages.  Not ALL men make more money than woman (the financial world is changing...in the past a woman could never touch a man's salary, now there are women who control major shares in companies).  Not ALL men are physically stronger either....there are a ton of whimps in the world...many grace the pages of getbig.  ;)  Not ALL men get better with age, in fact most men's health fail many years earlier than a woman's.  And if you are talking looks....welcome to the age of Plastic Surgery...so that's thrown out the window.

The world is changing.  Not that I want Hilary Clinton to be president...but look at what's happening there.  There is a possibility of a women being president at some point.  There are women that do run countries or hold a lot of political power.

I'm not saying being one or the other is better, all I'm saying is that I don't mind being female and have never had the wishes to have been born a male.

Oh brother ::)  We're speaking in generalities.  By the way, I don't have to have lived life as a dog or a cockroach to know I'm better off having been born a human.
