Market a product that's in high demand?

Or go to school and study your ass off and make sure to choose a major with promise. That's my plan, as I'm certainly not a business genius with very original ideas. But what I've learned is that most of the time to make real money, you must actually have some in the first place; to put forth your plans. That's why it's prudent to invest in an education from a good school. Doesn't have to be Ivy league or even a yuppie school like NYU, but good rated.

I agree with you punjab. First time i bought 1x40hc from china i had to put 40k in advance, because the chinks didnt want to accept lc (they love money) but yeah after that first deal, full of problems, everything went smooth  ;D

LOL!!!!!

Fixed that one for ya.  ;)

I've noticed a lot of my posts have had very minor spelling or contextual errors in them lately and I have no idea why.  It is somewhat concerning for me, because usually I don't miss little details.

Nope - all third party (affiliate) based.

is it very complicated to get started? and how come you ventured into this business?

ATRs. Certainly not the biggest planes, but they are nice planes to start with :)
I think at least my office offers me the best view you could possibly get :D
(i'm not in that flight deck pic)

Too big planes for me, so much reposibility. Is there any reasonable careers flying smaller planes like cessnas?

40 k straight cash, or loan?  ;D

Getting loans is risky but if you're sure then it's not a big deal. I'm against the idea of debt myself, but I did get a credit card just for the sake of building decent credit for the future. Of course I always pay off anything right away.

In finland i think you can't really make a living flying "taxi flights" with small planes, don't know if it's a different situation in states. Of course one option is to become a flight instructor.

But the responsibility is not really a thing to be concerned about too much. People often ask me how can i take the responsibility of having 60+ passengers lives "in my hands". But then again, i don't want to get killed myself, so basically i don't think about the passengers THAT much, they just follow along, if you know what i mean. Also, you're not alone in the cockpit, and when you start as a first officer, the captain is the one who has the full responsibility of what ever happens in / to the plane :)

Epic buying a house at the absolute worst time in 30 years...

It was the perfect opportunity, the owners lived had the property for over 25 years, it was paid off, and they sold it to me for $500k below market. I walked into equity.

I found it relatively easy, but not as easy as I thought and it took 18 months before I was making a livable income on it and that was maintained for quite some time, until things started to fall a little over a year ago.  The reason why I got started is because a friend's brother started the www.musclesurf.com website and claimed to be making $70,000 a year on it.  I never made quite that much on my bodybuilding website alone, but it was doing very well until last year.

40k straight cash, then a few more and now mostly using bank loans since its pretty pointless to spend an average of 120k/month from your own pocket, when you can use the bank and keep your money somewhere else  ;D I get a pretty decent libor rate these days so...yeah its a great deal and thanks to that i can enjoy to see my pic here smoking cheap marlboro cigarettes (as u said haha)

Not cheap at all, my good man. I take back those statements.

Good luck in your future ventures. You seem prudent with money and CJ respects that beyond anything else.

of course you were smart to get good relations with your bankers. Very wise; better rates.  ;D

All and all I am comfortable and happy where I am, but my goal in life is to make as much money as possible.  Money buys everything. But now that I know how the game is played, I will damn well play it and I will allow no one to mess with my survival (money).

Absolutely!!! With money one has options and choices. Without it, you have no choices.

I used to think $ was what life was all about.  I worked til 4 am every day, slept til 10, hung out with the woman for a few hours, then worked from 7 or 8 pm on every night.

The money was incredible.  But then I had a baby and realized that work is what you do to be able to do fun things with, and provide for, your family.  I work 10 hours a day still, broken up throughout the day, but it's not 15 or 16 hours like it used to be.

Life's about making enough $ to relax and have fun with those you love.

Life's about making enough $ to do what you want to do, ...when you want to do it, ...whether that's having enough to provide for yourself and your family, ...or having enough to make a difference in the world.

That's why I do what I do. I provide people an opportunity to impact their lives whichever way they choose, ...whether it be to make an extra $500 - $1000 a month, ...to own a home instead of renting, ...or to allow a spouse to stay home and not have to go to work, ...or be able to send their children to private schools instead of public schools, ...pay for a university education, ...be able to retire from the rat race, ...or to impact the lives of others by building schools or providing communities with access to fresh water where they didn't have it before.

Many people look down on those who want to be tremendously wealthy, because you can only wear 1 pair of pants at a time, ...but with great wealth comes the ability to accomplish many things. One of my colleagues from Ohio has been able to commit more time to, and to fund her own charitable causes, building wells in Uganda. Another one of my colleagues (a car salesman from Alberta Canada) has been able to develop a charitable foundation that he's been able to fund which digs wells in Kenya. My own sponsor in this business (a stay at home Mom from California with a 2yr. old boy), achieved enough success within her first year, that she was able to retire her husband (a physician of 22 yrs) as well as build two schools, one in Thailand, and the other in Western Samoa. They would never have been able to accomplish these things without wealth.

I provide people with the opportunity to achieve their dreams, whatever those dreams are, and the vehicle we use to do that is an environmental product, that reduces tail pipe pollution, protects our engines, increases our mileage, and save us money on our fuel costs.

Fuel is something the entire world uses. If we want to go from Point A to Point B, it requires fuel. The only question is: how much do we want to pay to get there? By providing people with an effective product that reduces pollution, one that would effectively increase our fuel costs if we didn't use it, we have built in repeat business. Repeat business that continues to pay over & over again. By increasing our miles per gallon, travelling further on the same amount of fuel, we reduce our consumption, and as nations, ultimately reduce our dependance on foreign oil.

We have the exclusive worldwide distribution rights to this product and are already shipping to over 229 countries & territories around the world. Through a seamless compensation plan, we provide people with a ground floor opportunity to develop a residual income from all over the world, one that literally can enable you to make money while you sleep.

The timing in the economy has never been better, ...people need to make money.
The timing in the environment has never been better, ...a real solution to global vehicularly caused pollution.
The timing in the history of burning fossil fuels on this planet has never been better, ...oil reached $100 barrel.
The timing in the company has never been better, ...offices and distribution facilities in place all over the planet.

Try to pick up a newspaper or magazine, turn on the TV set, and you will see this is a concern for the entire planet.
We have a solution to the pollution, relief from the pain at the pump, and an unprecedented global opportunity.

The majority of my income is currently made from running Caliber Fitness Solutions which I've owned and operated since 2001.  Its now a full time gig ever since I was laid off from Alltel in August.

Everything I do is the same except I now spend more time with it.  The bulk of the business is selling nutritional supplements and exercise equipment on my website as well as Ebay and Amazon.  In addition, I do nutritional consulting via email or phone and personal training at people's homes on occassion.  I make some money from affiliate sales like Matt C but also I get paid for referrals from a number of companies from Chiropractors to Anti-Aging Clinics.  They don't pay much but its good for the bills.

As far as the Pre-Paid Legal business, it has dropped off significantly ever since I moved to a rural area but once I have time to do better advertising, it should pick up but until then I don't really count the income from it.

Here's my store report just for Ebay for January so far:

Been slow but I get by.  Its important to keep a log of all of your past customers because its what kept me in business for so long...... 8)

My Top Performing Store Categories

   General Health
   $4,759.83    17

   Exercise Equipment
   $12,919.99   26

   G.H. Agents
   $65.90    2

   Homeopathic RX Products
   $65.90    2

   Other
   $0.00    0

As far as Important Fitness Equipment is concerned, I decided not to complete the transaction as the company did not have any standing product as it claimed.  It was basically sending orders through Amazon.  So I went ahead and redesigned my online store at www.caliberfitness.com/proshop.  I need to complete a heading image and that will be it.  I will problably have 240 take care of it.  Onlyme is bitter because his franchise idea is not going well as he thought.  He still has that big gym he's building but that's it
