Jackson's calves are abysmal - can't be more than 17in. His upper body is great but he still looks too bloated for five weeks out.

That maybe the problem. The best calves I have ever seen on a black dude were on a dude who sold peanuts at the old Memorial Stadium in Baltimore. The things were huge, and all he did was run up and down . So maybe Johnnie needs to do light weights and high reps, or stand in a sandbox and do high reps.
