I've just found out and realised that eveything I post on your website is available to be Googled. Therefore I must delete a lot
OK?
I'm off
No, I always smell like this

I'm starting on the Toronto thread. I hate to delete but must. I'm told it remains on my HD? But can i un-Google all I've said?
Hugely embarrassing that I've posted people's names and that when you google them you just get Linda posting on an obsure LA w8lifting board looking for people she knew 10-15-20 years ago. I need to get on www.Ancestors.co.uk

>>>Judi/Jag: would it be possible for me to beg that you (although I know you never have before), delete a message quote on the "Toronto" thread where I mention someone by both his first and last name? Unfortunately now when you google him, it comes up with some maniac in London on a BB board via LA discussing a nice guy in Toronto. Please help me delete this hand print?
No problem Linda, I know where you're coming from. it's done.
I too get a little nervous about things I reveal on here, but I figure if I'm cryptic enough, only those who know,
will know who I'm referring to. That's what I mean't before when i said "shhh... some things should never been spoken about only until after all the parties involved have died"

I know what you mean about name & faces, I googled a few of the names you mentioned to see if the posts came up, and realized I have actually encountered some of the people you referred to.
I never knew your former boss Jerry G, I had seen him around occasionally, but I never knew him.
I wish I had. I know I along with all Torontonians, ...if not all Canadians have been positively impacted by his influence.
I read the speech that he gave to The Empire Club in 1969. What a remarkable man he must have been!
He must've been a joy to work under. If you drove his silver Jag, I bet I know where he got it. Did you know John C?
Now there was a proud English man if ever there was one. I remember his face beaming with pride when he recalled phoning up his mum to let her know that he had been invited to the royal wedding of Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer. She asked if he was going to be serving food, and he said 'No mum, I've been invited as a guest to attend the wedding ceremony, ...on the groom's side'. John used to own that Jag, Rolls & Bentley dealership. Used to keep his yacht at the Royal Canadian Yacht club on toronto island. He used to say 'Not bad for an old scrapper from liverpool'. I think his wife's name was Linda too. She was an absolutely stunning lady.
Did you attend the party for the closing of The Windsor Arms before the refurnishment?
I also googled the Molly J you mentioned. I didn't know her, but surprisingly enough, I know a few members of her family. Her brother Clarke. I've worked with him a few times, and I've also worked with their father. I know her ex sister-in law Heather, Clarke's former wife, as well as Heather's brother Warren. The funny thing is, I knew them all separately, and didn't know the mutual connections we had with each other until just a few years ago. I didn't even know Warren & Heather were brother & sister, or that Heather used to be married to Clarke. She still uses her maiden name, and avoids connecting herself to him because of the additional career pressures it brings.
I originally met Warren in 92. My sister's boyfriend & I went to picking up my sister after work. We went to grab a quick bite to eat in a restaurant near my sister's office, before proceding to a business meeting we had, and we ran into Warren with his then 7 yr. old daughter. It was his daughter we noticed first. she was such a lovely, beautiful, articulate little girl, we couldn't help but be impressed with her. We were blown away with how smart and intelligent and exceptional she was. Anyway, we get to talking, exchanging business cards etc., and have been keeping in touch ever since. Back about 5 yrs ago, Warren & I were chatting on the phone, and I was asking about his daughter who must have been about 17 by then, and how she must be growing into a beautiful young lady. Even at the age of 7, you knew she would be an absolute stunner. I started laughing about how he must be living every father's nightmare, with her being 17 and so drop dead gorgeous, and it occurred to me she bore a strong resemblance to an actress I knew named Heather. Then I realized Heather & Warren had the same last name, so I asked him if he was related. That's when he told me she was his sister, and updated me on what she was doing, and that she just came back from LA having done a small part in her ex-husband's film. When he told me the name of the film, I almost fell off my chair. That's when I put it all together and realized she had been married to Clarke. I didn't know because she still uses her maiden name. This was just before Thanksgiving, and Warren told me Clarke was going to be flying into Toronto to have Thanksgiving with everyone. So I shared my own personal Clarke story with Warren, who promised me he would share the story with the entire family over Thanksgiving dinner.

(sometimes there is a little justice in this world afterall)
