I've tended not to place a great deal of emphasis on direct ab work in the last few years but I've recently started back training them on a twice-weekly basis.
I only do forward and reverse crunches at the moment but I was a bit concerned about my breathing while doing them - I tend to find myself holding my breath while cranking out the reps and I wondered if this is right? Whenever I take a breath during the set my abs tend to relax too much and I loose that "squeeze" on the muscles.
Anyone got any pointers asto how I should be doing them right?
