Ron Paul is an advocate of Personal Liberty and Personal Responsibility

This message usually doesn't sit well with those that think the proper role of Government is to do things for them.

Yup...still trying to remember the last time the government did anything for me...
I hate the State.

With a guy like Ron Paul running the US of A, a depression isn't a risk, it's a shoe-in.

Learn how money and debt work and then came back here and spread your wisdom.  ;)

Thank you for your honesty.

Change for the sake of change is a very dangerous principle to live by.

We have already heavily destroyed our system of checks and balances with the 17th amendment.  I would repeal the 16th and 17th amendment (adopted post 1913) as they have done the most damage to our personal liberty.

So yes, we have done much damage to the document since its ratification.

I agree.

You know nothing about the document yet you criticize it! hahahaha

At least you admit your a moron, thats a start.

Do you have zero intelligence? I wasn't criticising the constitution itself, I was criticising the premise that it cannot be improved.

Exactly; with policies such as stop spending a trillion dollars a year overseas, stopping wasteful spending in general and not overprinting money; definitely a shoe-in....no, we definitely need more Bushes in office, don't you agree northman?

I don't see your point.

I've repeatedly critized Bush for being fiscally irresponsible, for lowering taxes during an economical boom.

Leading to a huge national debt and a further overheating the economy instead of cooling it down.

As a result, there is very little room for tax cuts and spendings to get the economy in motion now, when it needs to get going.

However, what indicates that a Libertarian like Ron Paul is willing to raise taxes and cool off the economy in an economical boom?

As empty as paradise
