well i wouldnt be so skeptical if i were you....it certainly cant hurt. all it is is an amino acid anyways.
It certainly can't hurt (unless it has long term side effects we don't know about), but it's still a waste of money because the effects has not been proven nor rapported as big empirically. Your opinion seems to be "let's waste money and hope it works"
Lot's of things does wonderful things on paper, but the real life result when all factors are taken into concideration = almost to small to measure. L-Carnite don't even seem to do wonderful things on paper (unless you can come up with some magical effects from double blind studies)
Hot tip: Until a person can account for every calorie and gram of macronutrients he/she takes in every day of the year + tweaks them for optimal progress, supplements like L-Carnite = basically worthless.
