the scary thing is your body reacts the same way to low and high pottasium. in the real world too high pottasium is extremely rare, so medics always guess you are too low so they administer more. this almost happened to a pro a few years back but Milos intervened and schooled the medic on the situation, preventing a very bad scene.
also, the kidneys can be pushed over the edge when they are already working overtime to process all the other chemicals in the system. then the water is drained and the concentration of drugs is multiplied many times as there is no water to dilute and flush the kidneys.
