You absoulutly need a diuretic no matter how lean you are.....after reading the posts ..no one is even close to knowing how to use them.  I'm going to make a fortune off you guys!!!

yeah I am only about 220 lbs right now, I should end up at 205 lbs onstage this year

still skinny but it will be 15 lbs heavier than last year and I compete in the teen class so I shouldn't look too bad

you ben a teen for 4 years now ,,from the time i remember i read your posts you been a teen yorue not 17 not 18 ,,get on real stage open class and win it,,its not that hard especially when you have more to go for you than arms,,,most canadians only have arms to begin with and are lacking trremendesly in the pecs delts and all other part on the uppoer body,,get to be a man ,,teen stoip at 18 19 ,,20 is when you need to get in the opens

I remember the article about it in MMI. He was supposedly on Nubain too. He had seen a doctor a few hours before he died who just told him to drink some tomato juice. Dr Mauro DiPasquale thought that the Nubain could have masked the symptoms of severe dehydration so he didn't get a proper diagnosis.

Never heard the Nubain thing but doesn't mean it isn't rue. I had spoke to people who knew two guys who where there, Porter and Steve B and the poor guy suffered before he died. Suppoedly he may have lived if he was in the states, but I think he was too far gone regardless of where he may have been.

Yep they do. Given a choice I would rather use inject. So much easier to predict.

I've seen people win in Canada local shows with 205 at 5'10, so why not do your level one then you'll have time to gain size for your provincials instead of wasting money and time on juniors. Last 3 pro cards awarded in Canada have gone to competitors under 205.

actually not very high doses, but everyone says that.  i pretty much gave up on serious competitions after 1991. (i started my gym then).  i looked my best in '91 and couldn't get as disciplined again.

now i just compete to give myself a reason to stop boozing for a few months.

Why don't you educate us then? You say diuretics are a necessity, always. What diuretics are good and how should they be taken?

I have very little experience with them but on paper injectable Lasix seems good for a loop diuretic due to the control, like Disgusted mentioned. Orally they seem hit or miss. Sometimes nothing happens after taking a tab (the few times I've seen guys take it).

if they are fat and they take  diuretics, they will still look fat but flatter, wich make them look even worse !!

I'm talking about diuresis as seen on the scale. One time you piss like crazy and lose a lot of weight and another time nothing seems to happen.

Theres a number of steps to take to get the water off....you dont just take a diuretic ..you have to prep in order for the diuretic to work properly.

Just out of curiosity...what do you have to say about the sodium factor...should that be considered or not? Jim (DISGUSTED) says it isn't something to cut out when shedding water just a few days out.

I would say dont hire him for your precontest diet.   I have a great precontest diet but I am the master at water. Thats why all my people win.

Mah ahn for the Sacremento and the Europa...she didnt try at the Olympia so I dont want to hear about that. Brenda Raganot will have a new look at the Arnold this year and Mickal Kindred will look vastly different at this years Europa...last year he tried Lasix. Watch the difference this year.
