If you take notice of what I said, my opinion was that it would take a season or two with some added free agents that Miami can now afford to acquire with Shaq's contract gone. The Boston Celtics proved this past offseason that you can turn a team around in a year. I realize that they're aern't many Garnetts and Ray Allens available these days but if they can acquire a younger big man like you suggested and grab a good outside scorer, this team can contend with 2 years.
I know you're a Shaq nut hugger, but the sad reality is that he's a bum now, plain and simple. He has never been a good rebounder or defender his entire career and he completely lacks the dedication to stay in shape and do what's neccesary to avoid missing games because of injuries. He's lazy and he's been that way his entire career. A fat ass who relied on playing his way into shape every season. But guess what, as he got older, it became harder to do and as a result, more nagging injuries began to occur in recent years.
And yes, I'm a Marion nut hugger because he's an outstanding player. Why can't he be a piece of a championship? If he re-signs with the Heat to an extension, then I don't see how that's a bad thing for Miami to have a player of his caliber to complement Wade.
Yeah im a shaq guy since he was drafted from Orlando, i know shaq's lazy, and unmotivated and really only plays for the playoffs, i do also feel wade will struggle now, his banged up also, his playing injured, i dont know why his not resting, the seasons done, they have a shot at number one pick,
Marions great, i ove his game, he fills out a stat sheet splendidly but his D is overrated, lamar odom killed him last year, he always gets game winners hit in his face, anyway we can go back and forth on this , i do agree with you bout shaq though, his lazy but hpefully he can prove em wrong.
