Stubbs back is unreal.

In the same ballpark as Dorian and RC for sure.

They are all in the same league-cannot reall say one is bettter than the others.

I agree big time! Bannout in 83 was near perfect
and his back in 83 would be top 3 overall in my book.

1. Near perfect back double bi..
2. One of the best Christmas trees..
3. Neither Dorian or Coleman's lats flared out as much in the
front double bicep.
(Not to say his back is overall better than Yates or Coleman
but I would have Samir in 3rd. His back looked great from any
angle in 83. Too bad he never achieved this good of an overall
package again. (But for one night he displayed one of the best
bodybuilding physiques ever.)

The back is very close between Yates and Coleman.
I think Coleman had a better lat spread because:
He had a better taper, smaller waist and his lower
back was actually striated during the lat spread.

I prefer Coleman in the back double bicep but they both have their strengths.

Dorian was more detailed in the back double bi and seemed to have
less fat, water or thinner skin in that area. (Just like Ronnie had the
reverse from the waist down.)
Ronnie had a better taper, the appearance of a thicker upper back
and younger looking muscle. Dorian to me looked like a masters competitor
in the back double bicep by 1995. (I'm not saying that's
a bad thing because of muscle maturity but his muscles looked older
by 1995 in the back double bi.

Dorian blew Ronnie away when he threw his arms back and showed
his spinal erector striations.

I could see it going either way although I prefer Coleman's back
because of his taper.

Once again Ronnie disagrees

Ronnie Coleman : DESCRIBE DORIAN YATES: A close friend. Dorian is very intelligent, a great Mr. Olympia. He had the best side-chest pose and the thickest freakiest back I have ever seen.

Its arguable between the two but I think Yates' back is better because he has everything Coleman had plus
