It is the smoothest protein I've ever drank. No clumps whatsoever. It is a premium protein worth the price if quality means a lot to you. Personally I don't care if the protein has no flavour at all and is nothing but a huge clump in the cup, but others want quality and if so, I highly recommend Syntha-6.

def a good tasting protein, chocolate and strawberry are very good, best strawberry protein i've ever had, just hope u don't get cookies and cream, worst protein i've ever tasted...

I've heard some people say that BB.com will send them multiple samples (like 10) of various products in their orders. I've never gotten any.

Though there was a guy passing out Animal Pump at my gym yesterday. I'm taking it later today...hopefully I'll survive.

I would tend to agree with that. Personally I am just as happy with BB.com's very own house brand, "Higher Power". Inexpensive, mixed fairly well, and is rich in nutrients and other good ingredients:

dymatize elite is pretty damn good

as far as an isolate goes

Took the animal pump sample I got...8 pills in one serving and the pills are the size of an extra large multivitamin. I notice nothing yet, other than an unexpected urge to go buy a guido chain.
Maybe I have to work out on this stuff, but it doesn't say on the package.

It tastes very good. Mix it with some milk and water with some ice...throw in a banana(if you have vanilla) and a little bit of peanutbutter and it's almost as good as pumpkin pie.

usually if it has a lot of concentrate in it or fillers the cholesterol will be high,

try and find some isolate like VP2, they will have NO cholesterol...

no no no a blend protein is optimal post workout. trust me on this one. you dont need 20+ grams of whey. the amount in a blend is sufficient.

Problem with Syntha 6 is half the scoop is carbs and fats. When I buy a protein, I want to make sure it is a high percentage of protein per scoop.

EXAMPLE:
BSN Syntha 6
Total Scoop Size: 50 G.
Protein: 25 g.
((50% Protein))

For comparission sake, Max Muscle Hi 5 which is a blend of protein I use. Get a good deal from a buddy that runs one.

Total Scoop Size: 32 G.
Protein: 26 g.
((81% Protein))

What is the better value?

for high protein content you should try isoflex from allmax. 99% protein. very high quality...lots of bcaa's, glutamine, some n.o. in the there to i believe.

Whey Isolates will always be in the upper 80%-low 90%. We are talking about BLENDED proteins which will be a total different make up compared to whey.

No way it is 99%, impossible so if their label claims that, they are lying.

no its 99%. 0 grams carbs .5 grams fat.

labrada lean body is a good blen. 8 grams carbs, 5 grams of which are fiber. 40 grams protien. 8 grams safflower(?) oil.

buy a george foreman and pre cook your meals the night before. if you are doing a high carb bulk up...get a rice cooker.
