Obama’s Energy Plan Will Cost $150 Billion
Since you've actually gone to the trouble of reading it, I will respond. For starters, Clean Energy 150 bill/10 years = 15 billion/yr
FOreign assistance funding increase is calculated over the next seven years. 25 bill/7 years = 3.4 bill/yr
And the tax plan will not "cost" us. It will just make douchebags like Halliburton pay their fair share. Bush gave them plenty in tax cuts. It's time to recoup that.
And the jobs and infrastructure spending (again dispersed over years) is not a "cost." It's a necessity in many parts of the US.
Try again, fuzzy math boy.
Iraq/Afghanistan costs us well in excess of 100 bill/yr right now. This is not factoring in costs such as heath care for veterans and other spending which is expected to send the
total cost of the war into the low trillions.
If you read the plan, he has promised a drawdown beginning immediately, thus reducing our costs, and exposure.
