Something i read ages ago on a bio of him.  From what i remember he got cancer and had to have part of his intestine removed.  Had to have a colostomy bag froa while but not any more.  Obviously with part of your guts missing, you will have a hard time absorbing everything from your food etc.

But i could have gotten it wrong.  it was a while ago.

True. Well, if you read M&F and FLEX it is.
This was during a time where every BBer that had some type of health problem and had to bow out of the sport, was inflicted with Colitis. Flex Wheeler got it, Mike Francois got it, and probably hundreds more we didn't know about.
Must be all that protein they eat, right?
Good to know Mike is still alive, apparently well, but talk about contrast? One of the most MASSIVE guys to be onstage, to looking sickly white and average next to an image of his former self.
Did anyone notice that all the past guys standing next to the cardboard cutouts of themselves, that there was a night and day difference? I don't expect them to still be 300lbs with abs, but there wasn't size difference in relation to the 2D cardboard image of them they stood by.
Good to see everyone up there, which doesn't happen often. Except for Nasser...wonder why he wasn't up there!

I believe he has Crohn's Disease.  Crohn's is an inflammatory bowel disease.  There is no cure, but the symptons can be controlled.

I got the same diagnose from my doctor 1 year ago. I thought something was wrong when I had to shit 10 times a day and had blood in it. This is not any excuse to not train. It just make it a little bit harder (shit more often, farting, stomach pain on and off). I have set a couple of personal records after this. Never give up!

I don't think his colitis shit is any reason how he look, he is just pale, bold and thiny, hard to look good in circumstances like that. I just think he doesn't have the genetics for getting old with charm, someone got lucky and someone don't.
