I am a black male and I popped something in my chest yesterday and its not black and blue but i aggravated tonight in match, nothing feels out of the ordianry other than it being tender and sore to the touch. I can go to the doctor but i'd rather not because something really big is in the works and i don't want to slow it down..

There isnt always bruising with a tear (example being Ruhl's pec tear).
Sounds like it isnt torn, just go easy on it till it feels good.

Wait 3-7 days or so, and don't use those muscles in the meantime, see what happens. You can see a doctor later, if it doesn't go away on it's own.
