This is way off topic, but what you’re saying does not make any sense.  Let us assume your 3-5% figure is correct.  Even if it were, it does not preclude people of similar dispositions from concentrating their limited numbers in specific venues, for example a gay bar or a bodybuilding outlet.

We have a saying where I come from: don’t listen to what people say, listen to what they do.  Ted Haggard and Larry Craig both insisted they were ‘not gay’ yet they were slurping cock when their wives were not looking.  Most guys here make similar claims regarding their heterosexuality, yet they specifically choose to spend their leisure time patronizing a sport populated by gay men and male prostitutes—attending shows, buying videos, magazines, etc.  No, not every bb fan is gay/bi, but the number is far larger than you seem to think.  I don't have 872 private messages from people who just wanted to say 'hi'.

There are many things I do not know, but I DO know that if I were straight, spending my time and money to look at/admire scantily clad men rubbed down in oil who pose and flex to music for audiences of cheering men would not be high on my list of priorities.

 However, you yourself seem to sometimes be a stereotype of a gay man who believes that all other men are gay , bisexual or in the closet. Not everyone who comes to getbig is gay - some don't even particularly like the  so called 'sport' of bodybuilding, they just enjoy the forum and have a hobby that entails going to the gym. It's probably why a lot of the pros get such criticism; many of us find them  objects of ridicule in what is little more than a male beauty pageant taken way too seriously.

 Not everyone is lying when they say they are heterosexual. I do agree though that you have to wonder about people who seem extremely anti-gay and quick to accuse others of homsexuality choosing to follow a pastime that is pretty much about male worship and beauty.

I don’t think all other men are gay/bi.  But I DO think many whom patronize bodybuilding are.  I’m in a number of forums online that cover a variety of topics (cars, higher education, basketball, foreign policy, kitesurfing, etc.) and this is the only forum where the topic of “everyone is gay” has ever come up.  Of course, this is also the only forum that involves men posing for other men, or where the primary subjects engage in private posing on the side, selling used clothing on the side, or even publicly peddle themselves in soft/hard core porn (musclegallery, muscleweb, etc.) specifically directed at men.  Some of you may be dismayed to know exactly how “available” some of your bodybuilding heroes are.  Some of them are not at all shy about advertising; I remember when Craig Titus used to advertise his "services" on his website.

I get private messages in other forums too, but they are never of the sort or volume that I get here.  I’ve never dated or hooked up with guys from the other forums I participate in, but I have hooked up with (bi) guys from getbig.  Btw the 872 priavte message figure does not even begin to include guys who email me directly.  These messages I get usually start out with a line like “Are you descrete…?”  It hasn’t happened in a while, but there is something remarkably gratifying about being called a fag in public by a guy who ends up sucking my cock.
