Name the youngest person to ever win the Mr America title. And his age at the time he won it.

Casey Viator, 19 years old in 1971

Correct with both answers, Moose.

Interesting Casey story when I return from Lake Tahoe.

Max...I believe Hugo was also a good photographer...yes?

Moose

Sorry Moose I don’t know anything about that. Could be true.

Dave do you remember the old BB at Ray's gym.  Francis Segura.  I think he was over 70 but looked like he was in his 40's.  He got an article in Life Magazine done on him by the same guy who did the article in Time on me and my show in Florida.

Yes I remember Keith. Francis used to train at Disc Gym in old town Torrance before Ray’s.
and keep moving!

No one should be able to guess these two ....

Stunt:

I missed this one:

Curt and Sharon Haywood

Curt took 3rd in the amateur division of the 1970 Mr. World; Arnold won the pro division that same evening.

Yes?

I enjoy these threads. In the old days we read the magazines from cover to cover. Some of us could name a guy just by seeing a bodypart.

I think it is Dick Dubois in the middle with Reg Lewis and Irvin.

I think you are right. Agree on old mags...read them again and again...I don't ever buy them anymore

Moose, I first met Curt when I was about 14 years old but I don't know if I was in Southern California or Northern Cal at the time.

Was Curt from the San Francisco Bay Area when he was a teenager?

If I'm not mistaken, he used to come up to the Russian River 72 miles north of San Francisco while he was a teenager.

Reeves spent some time up thataway also.

Rio Nido was the place to be in the 50's and every kid in the Bay Area spent at least a couple of summer weekends there.

Reeves, Eifferman, Haywood, Holvochik, Freeman, and many others who eventually made a BB name for themselves. (It must have been the water!)

Stunt, I am unsure as to if Curt was from San Fran. I do know he became pretty good friends with Arnold, though.
