While I don't think Chick has accomplished nearly enough as athletic rep, I do think he's trying.  But getting the execs of the IFBB to agree to change is nearly impossible.

But athletic rep is not the same as official internets spokesman, which is what Chick really is.  Just like with Dana Perino, its hard to think that he believes half of what he says.

Can't tell if you're actually that clueless or just alzheimers creeping up in your old age, Basile...First off, I was willing to fight the good fight well before any "athlete's rep" position was created, and tried forming a union for all the athletes at the height of my career...

Lee was never abandoned, it was Lee that abandoned the IFBB...and I STILL went to bat for him, Just as I've been doing the last 4 weeks...of course, you don't have a fuckin clue about that, either....

What occupies most of your efforts is communicating to the athletes what the IFBB wants, and what JM wants. Why on earth doesn't any other pro want that precious position as PAR? Well, they know it will backfire and they will be hated no matter what they do. A pro cannot both represent others and compete against them. That is clear. So perhaps a retired pro like yourself is suitable but why aren't there any elections for that position? You call bodybuilders knuckleheads but only you are ass enough to accept that position. How is it possible in America that the governor of California can co-host a bodybuilding show that doesn't do testing of illegal drugs ? Something stinks in bodybuilding and you are part of the problem.

In the meantime, there you are in a capacity to do something and you come up almost empty handed. I could easily come up with a better organization than the IFBB.
