Lee’s been a pro for what, about 15+ years now?
He’s only won a couple of shows with sub par placings in the big two.

There’s no doubt that he’s marketable, and clearly it’s not for his contest history.
He’s forged an image and reputation that gets him notoriety.
Unfortunately, it’s easy to lose control of an image that consists of things like outspokenness and face tattoos.

Doing those things earns him criticism.
But if he doesn’t do them, he’s not Lee Priest – he’s just another bleached blond juice monkey.
It’s impossible to maintain a balanced medium that completely satisfies both critics and supporters.

Yeah, you have to keep the fans happy to stay marketable.
But the most important people to cater to are the ones who sign your paycheck.

Trouble is, not much is gonna change across the board, if only the odd individual here and there tells his/her masters to lick his/her asspipe.

Things only change when lots of people have a common aim, and are willing to make sacrifices and a sustained effort to change the status quo.

Lee Priest is running short of places to go due to bad judgement in his personal business dealings within the sport. The guy is a great pro and seems to be his own man which ya gotta admire on some level.
Being that independent minded may sound good, but it may cost him now and pretty much end any viable pro career for Lee now
