There is nothing like Maine lobster!  :P :P

All you can eat Maine lobster or all I can eat Armin Scholz?  Hmmm that's a tough one.  :D

Trust me. Lobster caught in RI is just as delicious as from Maine.  Freshness and cold water is the key.  After they are caught they starve and the meat goes bad even though they are alive...

OT... I had McD twice today.  Mcgriddle for breakfast and chik sandwich for lunch.  I came home and had steak and potatoes to even it out, but i still feel like a sputtery brick is in my guts.

I'm still following the very good, very effective diet from Layne Norton.

But today we drove 2 hours to the zoo, so it was fast food on the road and lots of bottled waters.  I prefer Chick Fil-A or other fast food, but we had 3 rugrats with us so of course, McD wins.

(edit--me wearing a little soda bloat today....)

Yes, you wrote that Layne made a diet for you, with more carbs than you are used too.

What does it consist of? (calories/protein/carbs/fat + types of food)

I don't want to post it in its entirety - trade secrets and whatnot.  If I recall, he charges $150 for a consultation and complete custom diet, and seriously, it's worth every penny.   As you can see, I went from very scrawny in the mr getbig 3 pics, to a lot leaner and bigger.

He gave me a really good list of carbs I could eat.  He told me WHEN to eat them.  percentages.  The protein was a lot LOWER than I had been eating, carbs much HIGHER.  Calories were LOWER - probably 750 or 1000 lower than where I was.  Bulking and cardio days, daily caloric breakdowns... you name it, it was detailed perfectly.  He had me eating less, doing more cardio, and less protein - but due to very intelligent carbs, I got out of that GI black hole I was in and started getting leaner and bigger at once.

As many of you rememebred, I spent the better part of 6 years (aged 25 to 31) being scrawny, getting fat, then getting scrawny again.  Layne has changed that, and I cannot recommend him enough.  www.biolayne.com

I know, I do too.

I'm one of those assholes who has an opinion on everything.  If I read a thread, I respond.  So while I might have 40 posts one day, it means I read 40 threads.  If I have 80 posts, I read 80 threads.

When I had real jobs, I wouldn't post while at work.  I'm an ambitious prick... lunch breaks were usually dedicated to trying to impress the boss' boss with a new project to undermine my boss to move into his position.  No time to read/post then.

So now that I'm at home for 10 hours a day with a rugrat, I kind of miss adult conversation.  I'm watching Spongebob and Sesame street and Dora/Diego all day long with a boy who can say ten words and would rather bite me than talk about training or nutrition.  So I come here a lot to retain my semi-sanity.

First time I ever had Lobster was in Miami and Big John Studd taught me how to eat it.  I didn't think it was anything special.  I then went to Einsenada, Mexico and had it with some friends and it is not bad when you dip it in refried beans.  Other than that I have never ordered it myself.  A gym I was building on Oahu back in the early 90's had the only live lobster tanks in the whole state.  They had a couple hundred lobsters in there all the time.  Different tanks for different size lobsters.  They had a 21 lb lobster that someone bought for a Christmas party at the restaurant across the street in Restaurant Row.  They put the claw at the top of the Christmas tree.  It was HUGE.  It was the biggest claw ever.  They said the lobster had to have been at least 100 years old and I guess the meat is kind of tough.  It fed 20+ people.
my brother is a lobster trapper in seal harbor, maine.  he trapped a 25 lb blue lobster.  drawn butter is preferred; that's when the butter is heated sufficiently and separates.  the salt and additives float to the bottom.  why is maine lobster the best?  the shell is really hard and the meat is firm not watery.

I had a Fat Boy burger way better than anything McD's makes.

McD's is nasty. Wendy's is good.
