I grew up near Cleveland, poor and on welfare. I moved to a FL trailer park where I lived for a few years. I decided when I was 18 that I'd like to better my situtation. I got a Pell Grant (college assistance for po' folk) and I went to community college. In 2 years I became a substitute teacher and moved to an apartment. 3 years later I was a fulltime teacher earning computer certifications and later my masters degree. I now live in a pretty nice home in a really nice area. I work 50 hours a week. I pay my taxes, and I follow the law.

If you consider me trailer trash because I had to live in one during high school, okay.

The best lobster (and lobster rolls) are to be found in Maine. I know it is counterintuitive, but as a general rule seafood (shell fish or otherwise) in Florida is not very good and I say this as a seafood lover and a Florida lover. Maryland crabs are the best. Maine lobster is the best.

I know I don't like lobster. I was in Rockland, Maine and saw the ocean a couple hundred yards away-practically watched them pull the cage out and serve it to me.
It was my first time having lobster, but I feel the same way as Candidizzle; too much work, too little meat, and overall I didn't care for the taste at all.

I'll let others eat all the lobster they want.....just give me a Ruth's Chris steak!!!

Bay GBM is right though the best lobster is from maine, man you want clam chowder and some other speicalty items go to boston md/VA is crabs for sure ....FL as you know is all types of seafood....

redlobsters suck donkey dick like squadfather...but ...good cheese biscuits....

maine lobster is money. btw, i wouldnt base my opinion on foods on chain restaurants like red lob.

Being a native of Maryland, I dig Crab legs and Crabcakes more than lobsters. Good crabcakes are tough to find anywhere, especially heavy on the jumbo lump crabmeat and light on the filler. Great Crabcake place in Lanham, MD and the Golden Bull in Hyattsville or Gaithersburg is not bad. O'Donnells in Bethesda kicks ass too. Never had a good crabcake in a chain seafood place.
And 240, enjoy the local catches down there: Marlin and Dolphin (Mahi Mahi). Lobsters come from up north. By the time they get to Florida, they're either dead or suicidal.

) are yummy, but I pass on raw oysters.

wellfleet oysters are the best especially with freshly shredded horseradish on top with blueberries for dessert
