Not that I'm defending Squadfather, but he problably has a cable modem like everyone else which means if he keeps his browser window open, he's still logged it.
Actually Vince, thats not true. When you are on a message board you usually read 2-3 times as much as you post (or else you wouldn't even know what the subject was about to actually post, especially subjects that are 4-5 pages long like this one). You have to actually read what people are saying so you can post a reply on par with the subject.
So lets do the math again shall we? This guy is averaging 46 posts a day on just this one account! Add in the time he has to go search for meltdown pictures and other pictures to attach them to his posts. So taking that all into account, Ill be very light with my estimate and say it takes him an average of 5 minutes to write up his posts. 46 posts x 5 minutes = roughly 4 hours a day right there Vince....just posting (not reading) just posting! Add in the actual reading of posts so he can make his reply and this guy is actively putting in 8 plus hours - a 9 to 5 job on getbig. I find this simply amazing to be honest with you. Jason Armstrong pointed out that he has multiple other screen names and posts under them also, so this guy looks to be actively on Getbig 10 hours a day every single day of the year! Not with the computer on and doing other things, but actively on the keyboard during all that time.
We also know he reads Muscular Development and scours Youtube for hours because thats where he gets all his pictures and videos he posts. So add another 2 hours there a day to his tally?
The stats dont lie...the user hours are right there for everyone to see. This Dave guy from St Louis is on the net 12 hours (*at least) every single day of the week unpaid with 8 hours on those days spent on Getbig.
To me at least, I find that fascinating that a 36 year old man or so can waste his life away like that. The CSI detective in me comes to these conclusions:
a) We can conclude that he doesnt work. You cannot 'work' a 9 to 5 on Getbig and 12 hours a day on the net 7 days a week and have a paying job also...it just cant be done with 8-9 hours of sleep a night.
b) We can conclude he doesnt have a girlfriend or a wife....lets be honest to everyone reading this right now....could you yourselves have a wife or hot girlfriend if you were on the net 12 hours a day if its not an internet job?
This is my hypothesis:
One of these three situations.
1) He is institutionalized (but I dont think they would allow him to be on a computer all day so that sounds wrong to me)
2) He is on disability (could be a possibility, but usually people who train on disability end up getting caught...yet people who are socially inept and live life thru a computer dont usually go to commercial gyms so he might lift at home) or maybe he doesnt even lift, I dont know....I am kind of sketchy on this one.
or
3) He still lives with his parents. Every now and then a married couple will have a child who just doesnt fit in socially in everyday life, they never dated or have even kissed a girl, their friends from high school have moved on and they dont have the social skills to function in real life situations....so after highschool or soon thereafter they continue to live with their parents chronically (usually in the basement)....I know of a former co-worker of mine in his late 30's back home in Mass in that exact situation. With Squadfathers 10-12 hours a day on the net every single day of the year, this is the hypothetical situation I tend to believe the situation is.
This is a very very delicate situation for Ron, owner of Getbig. A person on this site bases his life around being on this message board. If Ron on a whim ever decides "Aah I dont want that guy on my board anymore, he is too racist".....and just kicks him off without a second thought....you are looking at a situation where someones livelihood (wait thats not the correct word he doesnt get paid) LIFE has just ended. That could result in a rifle on a Bell tower situation or a noose hanging from the rafters.
I am entranced by this all, I admit it. On one hand, I find the lives of people such as John Forbes Nash with such supragenius IQ's that they have problems talking and relating to everyday people fascinating....and in this particular situation I find it amazing that a 36 year old man wastes away (or could if be looked at another way) CREATES an other life like this for 12 hours a day on the internet.
I would like to see an indepth interview done....Id read it in its entirety. Has he ever kissed a woman? Gone on a date? How and what went wrong? Before the internet 10 years back, what did he do 12 hours a day? Video games? Did he ever have AOL back in the old days when they used to charge you for minutes usage...what was his monthly bill like? $1000's? Does he get freaked out in open spaces or crowded places like malls or airports? Do his retina's burn at the end of a Getbig workday?
Someone give me a nuclear meltdown picture unless I find out what makes this guy waste his life away.... I know I am not the only person on this board that wonders about the path it took to get a 36 year old man to this point.....
