I have been an Arnold aficionado for many years, and have seen many pictures of him. But the one picture I have NEVER seen is Arnold benching more than 385 lbs.

It's not to say it's not entirely out of reach for Arnold to have maybe maxed out 540 lbs. on a bench, I'm just saying I have never seen such a pic.

How can Squadfather claim Bullshit when the man had a 60" fucking chest and what looked like to be carved out of granite. He trained with one of the strongest bodybuilders of all time (Franco) and I'm sure Franco pushed Arnold to get as strong as he possibly could and did.

meltdown upon hearing the truth, even Coleman's chest wasn't 60 inches at 290 pounds and Ronnie himself would struggle with a 540 pound one rep bench, Arnold's real chest measurement=52 inches and real bench press=405 pounds for 1 rep, still VERY GOOD.

Arnold's chest was light years better than Coleman's. Arnold had one of the fullest chest's of all time. Maybe not 60", but an easy 57-58".

In the Arnold Encyclopedia, Arnold states that he benched 500 for reps.

Just because you've never seen a pic doesn't mean anything. He'd have to be very weak to possess the size he did and not be able to bench 405 for several reps.

Mike Katz had a legit 60 inch chest...granted...much of it was ribcage...but resoundingly impressive, nonetheless.

like i said before, Arnold was INCREDIBLE but those are his real stats, what makes me really laugh is how guys on here make it sound as if a 405 pound bench and 20 inch arms are some kind of insult as if every average Joe Schmoe walking the streets has that.

I'm not saying the 405 lbs. bench wasn't feasible for him, knucklehead. It's the 500 lbs.+ I'm having some doubts about.
